dafcburty Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 Delightedly to get Thomson on board. That's a very astute signing and I agree that he and Beadling should compliment each other perfectly. As I've said before, I think the squad is coming together nicely and we aren't too far away from completing our squad. For me, we still need a CM, 2 Wingers and a Striker. If we can bring in another Full-Back and Goalkeeper to cover Murdoch and allow Gill to go out on loan too, that'd be great. Lawless would be a good signing but I still can't see it. Aidan Connolly? Ex Raith and Dundee United player, done really well with Raith up here and Armstrong who we had on loan last season could be within our budget. Aye if Gill isn't able to step in if it was required then when is he at the club? Also in that scenario the solution wouldn't be to sign another keeper; it would be to punt Gill then sign someone in his place. Erm nothing.U20s keeper good enough to cover short term, allowing the club time to find a replacement if long term cover is needed. An approach taken by many in Scottish football, once murdoch is fit we'll have one of the best reserve keepers in Scotland.
