Hughsie
I can't imagine he'd let all that lovely gate money from Wednesday slip through his hands. Not sure how much he's expecting but I'd be surprised if we take much more than 500 on Wednesday night.
graeme_p
Purvis really is leaving the "Night in shining armour" act to the very last minute. Either that or there is something so horrendously wrong with the finances that no-one could ever save the club. I still can't see liquidation happening. If your club goes tits up (I hope it doesn't) but every Board memebr that sat idly by and let masterton do his thing is culpable as well..
Whistle Blower
I still can't understand why they didn't do this months ago, round about October/November when it became abundantly clear they couldn't pay their players. They could have called a rival club, and offered them their 3 best players for a box of sweeties
Sting777
Leishman has said there will be an announcement made by Masterton tomorrow regarding Dunfermline's future. Maybe waiting till the £94m Euromillions draw tomorrow night!! Seriously guys, hope you pull through

sons superhero
It must have been written in the winding up order when the deadline was and the club would have recieved it. Did they quote today at 5pm?
ScottR96
Just saw Masterton on Sky Sports News. He couldn't remember the code to get in the side door of the stadium and he couldn't even remember how long he had supported Dunfermline for. No wonder the club is in a mess with that simpleton in charge.

rainbowrising
Could somebody tell me how an administrator could work with no assets & next to hee haw income? fair question. Any accountant worth their salt would wangle something around assets such as the stadium value but - I think! - thats a busted flush due to Mastertons ludicrous lifetime mortgage he has? apologies if I have this wrong. Take that out of the equation and there are no assets.
Sergeant Wilson
Coffin with DAFC logo on the front pages tomorrow? It'll be the old burst Patrick ball out of Jjb.

Bearwithme
It must have been written in the winding up order when the deadline was and the club would have recieved it. Did they quote today at 5pm? 8 days are allowed from the latest of the advertisements/service of petition. The Edinburgh Gazette advertisement was last Tuesday (link posted earlier). There could be different ways of reckoning the period but today couldn't possibly be 8 days from last Tuesday.
vikingTON
The name is an asset, as is SFL membership. Not going to pay the fees of whichever parasite takes over the husk of a club though.
