Pars Supporters Trust Statement:

"I am sure that everyone was unhappy to hear that most of our Senior Players,
Under 20's, Backroom Staff and other non-playing staff did not receive a full
wage at the end of January and not for the first time.

I had a meeting with Jim Jeffries on Tuesday, and as an example, one of his issues is the young
players who have received a small percentage of their wages. There will soon be
issues with the guys being unable to afford the cost of travelling to training
and to games. There are I am sure similar issues with the non-playing staff
members.

The Board of the PST picked up on a post on dafc.net regarding a
'Hardship Fund' so we agreed that this is something we could take forward. The
Dunfermline Press kindly put some detail in this week's paper, and already we
have had a couple of donations which is encouraging. Dafc.net has also donated
£100, and Pars Alive has agreed to donate £500. The PST are having a meeting
soon, and I will propose that they also contribute from existing funds. It was
great news that Marvyn handed £100 from DAF4F to JJ to help the youngsters this
week.

Deborah Paton (now Steven) who has in the past been on the PST
Board, has agreed to work with Club representatives to help set up a process for
managing this. Her mail address is deborahpaton@hotmail.co.uk. If there is any
advice or help you can give Debs, I am sure it will be appreciated.

If anyone wishes to contribute to this specific fund - you can do so directly into
the PST Bank Account

Bank of Scotland
Sort Code : 80.06.55

Account

:00662309

or you can send a cheque to our PO Box

Pars
Supporters’ Trust,
PO Box No 29194,
Dunfermline KY11 2AY

If you do make a donation, please send a note to this e-mail address -
parstrust@yahoo.co.uk - so that it can be acknowledged.

We are all doing our wee bit to help in these difficult times, and I am sure most of us recognise
that we surely must look after the staff and help them as much as we possibly
can."

Anyone contributing?

After dafc.net's unnecessary and frankly embarrassing pop at the Pars Alive group, no I won't be directly but I still have the money I raised to give to DAF4F so it's up to them what they do with that

What was actually said?

Ahhh right. I saw that mentioned in the relating thread.

It was in the hardship fund article but has since been replaced with a back pedalling apology after the reaction of disgust

Just received an interesting e-mail regarding the activities of Gavin Masterton. The Kingsgate is/were considering applying for a winding order on the club for unpaid rent from when the club shop was there.

I'm not pissing on anyones chips, but the Rovers take a kiosk to sell tickets on two afternoons and the business plan pays off, GM must be the worst non rent boy in history.

But its like reading a word document through someones windae.

I managed to read it fine on my phone...

Very interesting read Gordieboy, thanks for posting. (How long before you get the legal letter from GM?)

GM sounds like Craig Whytes evil big brother!

I don't know who I dislike more in society, benefit scroungers who can but won't work, or these financial whizz kid types who can live the life of Riley by moving & playing with other people's money (and in a football clubs case, emotions) whilst putting nothing in themselves.
