HoBNob
Some posters on dafc.net hinting at the club being due £500K to the taxman. I'm not sure I can believe that as it was worded like 'the HMRC is due the taxman £500K'. If we were due the taxman that our backdoors would already have been bashed in.

gav-ffc
The fact that away fans can ask for a student and just be given shows how much the staff give a f**k about the club they work for.
GordieBoy80
The fact that away fans can ask for a student and just be given shows how much the staff give a f**k about the club they work for. Home fans can do that too. dafc.net's got entertaining in a car crash way again, Brian's red carding people who ask valid questions about the club again (especially after an elderly fan fell due to lack of light at the back of the Norrie after the game, it's been stated that the lights had been switched off due to a cost saving measure and while people involved with the club deny this I'd believe honk before I'd believe a club puppet or sympathiser) while letting his mates away with murder. http://dafc.info/forum/read.php?f=4&i=15134&t=15134 http://dafc.info/forum/read.php?f=4&i=15281&t=15281 This thread is a direct consequence of the one above.

My comment was the second thread I just posted was deleted for apparent whinging, I've now edited it with cheek.
Moonface
Are the players and staff due to be paid their December wages tomorrow? After 3 defeats and 1 draw in the last 4 matches, it makes you think that team moral might flagging the longer the financial crisis goes on. Not being paid in full and on time for a 3rd month in a row could further demolirise the squad and might lead to some players actively seeking a move in the January transfer window, even if the club don't want to sell. Once players decide they need to leave and move on, you never get the same from them on the pitch.
South Lanarkshire Jag
The fact that away fans can ask for a student and just be given shows how much the staff give a f**k about the club they work for. This happens everywhere. I've yet to pay a full adult fare for an away game despite being mid-20s.

I may be wrong Gordie but I don't think we owe any directors 1 million, I think. I'm also desperately claw straw cluching that the ex directors are all pars fans and wouldn't do that

Masterton also had the chance to sell the club but refused. I sincerely hope you're right.

Why deal with GM, when you could get the club, ground & SFA/League membership for next to nothing from the liquidator? Granted you'd start life in Div 3, but be debt free & able to carry on regardless. Sure I've heard of that stunt being pulled somewhere else lately.
