Anthony Fitzgerald
Hearing you are looking to sign David Moyo who’s just had his contract terminated by Hamilton Accies.

Cardle is Magic
Give him credit; "vegetableman" is probably the most accurate username I've seen on here in years.
GordieBoy80
The club have pivoted back to having a manager who will help 'bring through youth' with McPake, at least going by the stuff Cook and McPake have said. Why did they abandon this for Grant and Hughes? Just another question to ask about those two abysmal appointments. Let's hope that McPake is also not an abysmal appointment. Appointing a manager who has just relegated their previous team can't go wrong...As someone who enjoys pedantry, you'll appreciate that McPake didn't relegate his previous club. Mark McGhee did.

DA Baracus
So Dundee's entire season was really just the games McGhee was in charge of then? Edited May 31, 2022 by DA Baracus
RawB93
McPake "relegated" us by virtue of failing to build a squad capable of surviving in the league above, which McGhee was then left with. I think he'd have performed better than him if kept on but not by much. I think/hope he'll do well for you, but he's at least 80% responsible for us going down.
Lord Snooty
McPake will be judged this coming season. He'll either sink or swim as a manager. Can hardly judge him on his season in the Premiership. CD at PSJ won the 2 nae-crowds COVID cups, everyone raved about him. He's just had a stinker of a season.
GordieBoy80
So Dundee's entire season was really just the games McGhee was in charge of then? When McPake was punted Dundee were 11th and 3 points ahead of St. Johnstone with a game in hand. Last time I checked 11th in the SPFL Premiership is not an automatic relegation place.

Shandon Par
Jim McIntyre fucked up recruitment-wise the season we went up (we probably started the previous season with a stronger team) but I don’t think that made him a bad manager. He’d shown in previous seasons he was capable of spotting the weaknesses in the team and recruited well to address them. McPake won a playoff - something Bert Paton, JJ, AJ, Crawford and the clown failed to do.

They'd won 5 out of 26 league games. Their form was very poor whilst St Johnstone's was picking up. If Dundee continued with the form McPake had them in, they would have went down. There's a Dundee fan above who says McPake is at least 80% at fault for their relegation.

They beat Dumbarton and Peterhead in the cup. Peter Grant's shite beat Dumbarton in the (league) cup! They were in utterly stinking league form, albeit had won at Hearts, although that was their first league win in ages.
