Rob1885
Not to sound like an attention-seeking ‘itk’ w**k but apparently a lot of staff at the club heard that Hughes is staying yesterday when they were in the club office. I thoroughly hope this rumour is proven to be absolute pish. But the longer the silence from the board continues, the more scared and likely to believe this stuff I get. This has actually put me in a foul mood [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
DAFC.
Genuinely be lucky to shift 800 ST’s if they keep that clown. An incredible own goal if they don’t do the right thing.
Chubbychops
Had a season ticket for over 20 years. I'm out if that clown stays on.

It’s easy to say keeping Yogi would cost us say 800 ST’s times maybe £300 per, so that £240,000, but the money from ST sales isn’t all gravy. It is true, however, that the net income from a single ST sale is probably much smaller as the total number drop versus when they climb. In the end, the new CEO has to take a hard look at the value both ways. Maybe the plan is to keep Yogi around until ST sales are about to start and punt him then. It makes no sense from a team building perspective, but it would potentially supercharge ST sales…and cash is king.

Then appoint a manager the fans believe in will boost them again. The earlier its done the easier for any new manager to decide who they want to keep and get new players in. This would again help with sales.Holding off as you suggest would be pointless and harm the teams chances.

I agree in principle.
Heaton
Are ST’s available yet though? I agree in principle. Not sure tbh. They usually do an early bird offer at current prices but they may be deciding how to price it given the drop down...
DA Baracus
Sponsorship will be affected if he stays, as surely some sponsors either won't think it's worth it for such low crowds or won't want to pay as much for such low crowds.
DA Baracus
Cowden gone. Be a very long before we play them again, if ever, you'd imagine (watch as we draw them in at least two of the cups for 22/23!).

It makes no sense from a team building perspectiveThink you’ve just answered your own question there. Make no sense to hold off sacking the manager and waiting for the right time. If you decide you’re going to sack someone, you do it when you’ve decided that’s what’s best. It’d also be daft to wait weeks to sack him whilst other clubs are appointing new managers and making signings. The Club need to announce it very soon, if he is going. Cook et al said their focus is on rebuilding relationships with the fans, keeping us all waited in announcing how our coaching and playing staff looks for next season won’t help that one bit.
Chubbychops
If they keep Hughes then that midweek statement will join a long list of bizzare actions by our board. It was a damning assessment of the end to our season, showed no support for the manager and promised change. If the then keep one of the biggest problems at the club then it will be a complete piss take and insult to the fans.

Chubbychops
Ah well. Pick and choose my games next season. Always bought a ST to help the club but they're a bunch of fukin clowns. Not signing up for a year with that thick cunto in charge.

DA Baracus
Assuming he doesn't have a relegation release clause, I hope that, should we get a new manager, Wighton is restored to the starting line up

And with him being very much a confidence player that could be the difference between a good attempt at getting back up or a Falkirkesque shitshow.
