It’s not all bad Pars fans. We’ve been there; League One isn’t nice. However, your old pals at Starks Park can help you. We’ve a lovely big chap just kicking his heels. Top scorer in League One, the captain at his previous club and a former Scottish international. Reluctantly, we’ll let him join you, to help an old friend out. Just give us a call.

It's never lost what a friend gets...

They really are going to stick by this absolute roaster, aren’t they? Good luck shifting season tickets. If it really was as low as 1400 this season, can’t imagine it’ll be much better than 800. We have truly c*nted it.

It really is incredible that they managed to attract around 2.5k fewer home fans than they had at the QoS game. It must be around a 45% drop in home attendance from one week to the next, despite it being a crucial game. If the board can’t see that and realise that the management team have to go, I really worry about where they’re going to take us.

45% fewer home fans at a playoff game, than turned up on a Friday night the week before. Let that sink in. The club are having a nightmare just now and it’s clearly not just the performances on the park that are the issue.

Posted something similar in another thread but surely the talk of less than 1500 season ticket holders at Dunfermline must be an error. Is it not sub 2500 which could be more believable? Struggling to wrap my head around 2000+ people consistently paying at the gate/online to go to games when they could have just got a season ticket (if Dunfermlines attendances are as they are reported).

Parts of this are as if he's just overseen a team narrowly missing out on promotion after a solid season rather than a shambolic relegation.

"When we're good no one'll get near us, so it's consistency of performance to hit the heights week in week out."

No John, I don't think many Dunfermline fans will agree with that.

He is correct in saying that if they’re good then no one will get near them. Unfortunately they’re a good few players short of being considered “good” and instead field players like Joe Chalmers, Liam Polworth and Coll Donaldson.

The club are currently so inept that they accidentally gave away how many season tickets were sold this season (1495).

1495 season tickets? For a club that was supposed to be challenging for the championship title? 😂😂😂

Can somehow help out this captain sensible bloke by biting to him? He's fair desperate for some attention.

As someone with no emotional connection to this thread, in my totally impartial view he’s coming across as a thick-as-pigshit arsehole.

He’ll get bored soon enough and go back to playing with his Duplo.

Coll Donaldson has been very, very, very good for us.

A rare bright spot in this season, would love for him to stay.

Bonus for Pars fans next season,it,ll be cheaper to get in

Away games aye, but prices will most likely remain the same at East End. They certainly won't be going down (unlike the team).

So when do we reckon the board will release a statement backing Hughes and saying he'll remain on and telling off the fans for naughty chants aimed at the manager, as well as blaming the fans for things in general?

Tuesday/Wednesday

Nothing will happen today, they'll meet on Monday/Tuesday and we'll have the shite statement the following day.

Is it wrong to be bitter that your Board will likely actually say something? Ours unloaded our manager with nary a peep.

Think your board have decided brevity is key with any statement.
