Walking Down The Halbeath Road

Recommended Posts

Aye I think this puts an end to the Petrie debate as he clearly isn’t interested. I get it probably wasn’t the ideal team to jump ship for Dunfermline but if he loved them as much as people think then he’d probably have taken that risk.

If John Robertson was interested then I can’t believe he was turned down in favour of Hughes. Would love it if we could try and tempt him down to Ayrshire in the summer.

Let’s hope he does what I heard he did on his first day at the Rovers. When a younger member of the squad went to shake his hand he barked “you don’t get to shake my hand, son, you should fucking salute me”

If Dick Campbell had said that, everyone would be lauding his hilarious old school banter.

Nope. I think out of the genuinely realistic candidates, I'd have had Robertson over him. It's either going to be a fantastic appointment or a continuation of our poor form. There's no middle ground.

BBC headline saying 2 and half year contract. Although it also says in the article he has signed until twenty twentyshree so that would seem to agree with the 18 month chat

Total incompetence to publish story with that headline and still not changed it.
