Walking Down The Halbeath Road

I thought he looked like he had potential a couple of years ago, but he’s really not kicked on. That being said, he hardly played last season and Crawford moved him all over the place - he even played central midfield a few times. So it’s a bit hard to judge him based on that. Just looked and he played 360 minutes in the league. Equivalent of 4 full games in a 27 game season. But he didn’t seem to offer anything in those appearances, I would agree.

He’s never had a consistent run of appearances in any position and is only 20, so we’ve just got to trust the coaches/manager’s opinions. We don’t see what goes on in training. By all accounts, he’s done well for the reserves, but he hasn’t made that move to first team standards yet.

Let's hope he does the business then.

That's a good bit of business in my opinion. Isn't Earth-shattering, but we signed him on a free anyway. O'Hara and Wighton were the main men, with McManus being fudged in to odd positions, so isn't a massive loss really.

Ach I like McManus, I think more for his attitude and as a person than his ability.

There is a position and a style of play he excels in, we didn't play it and I don't think he is worthy of building a team around. So, aye, decent bit of business that.

Just had a new bairn too, doubt playing in Wales is going to be ideal on that front but hope he batters the goals in.

He could have said he doesn't fancy it if moving away was an issue, I would expect the money is a sweetner.

Hope Peter Grant can get more out of McCann than his contributions thus far in his pars career.

Thanks again to everyone who chipped in for season 20/21 it's always appreciated but even more so when folk are willing to part with hard earned cash when the world has been turned upside down. This is the training top won by @CallumPar. Drop me a PM to arrange collection/ delivery.

I think there has been decent levels of interest for doing to sponsorship again, will set up another PayPal pool if I can remember how to do it. As for last season if you wish screenshots of the pool just let me know. Please make the reference your username or something you will remember like @DA Baracus did:lol: makes it easier to marry it all up at the end of the season.

I'm hoping that by the end of season 22 we might have normality back which would mean names out a hat for those to attend the sponsor's event and then names out the hat for top, hopefully it could be done in person rather than online, that's if people felt like socialising with random pars fans entirely up to those who enter.

Drop me a PM if you have any questions, if you are all happy I will kick off the pot and then once the squad is looking a bit more complete we can choose the player.

As always the generosity of Pars fans never fails to amaze. Also as it's the middle of the month happy to take IOU until the start of July.

Cheers,

101

Sometimes wonder if he's got hands inside his gloves.

For every 1 good save he's made, he's  caused twice as many preventable goals.  He has to be replaced as number 1 next season as we won't get promotion with him in the team.

On a side note, I see were linked with Isaac Rice , a 20 year old centre back released by Sheffield Wednesday.

Didn't realise OFW was such a talented artist.

Just watched his opening contribution to the lead up to the Wales game. Really tremendous talent with the oil paints👍🤗

He released a painting of EEP which made a fantastic gift for my Dad,by all accounts a great bloke.
