Dow might be used up top a bit. He looked decent there the other night when he came on, although it was against limited opposition.

Would obviously prefer him out wide though, but with Fraser Murray able to play there this might come in to Crawford's thinking.

What would you all consider your favourite league opener?

Mine would probably be the Cowdenbeath game when we were on the mad run of results but not 100% sure that was the opening fixture of the season

Played Brechin in the opening day that season. Won 6-1. Think we scored 4,5,6 and seven in that order over 4 games.

Good enough for accies.

Good enough to sit on their bench. Callum needed a challenge away from East End I think his development had stalled with us and hopefully a fresh start will allow him to build on the flashes of talent we saw.

That wasn't the league opener. Away to Brechin 1-6 was and is definitely a contender. The Cowden game was a week after.

Beating Inverness 4-0 in 1999 was very enjoyable.

However I'm going to go with the win at Tannadice a couple of years ago. Very enjoyable game and we looked really good. Great atmosphere in the away end as well.

And how many goals has he scored for them?

A quick look on Wikipedia shows he's played 91 first team games in his career to date and has scored 11 goals. Guess how many of them are for Hamilton?
