You're welcome chief, seemed you were struggling with the concept.

Genuinely don’t see the issue with Nisbet’s interview. He’s 23 and wants to play at the highest level possible and earn as much money as he can. Players at this level do not earn huge wages.

Last summer, we very publicly said that we wanted to bring in younger/less experienced players and sell them on. We can’t bring players in, telling them things like that, then not allow them to move on.

Likewise, McArthur is right with his interview though. Try and get a bidding war started and not encouraging/accepting poor offers. He will be away this summer, but we need to try and get the best deal for us - including decent add-ons.

Because it seems odd to do an interview saying you wanted to leave and still want to leave when the fans of your current club have stopped it going to the wall again. There is no reason to do all this pointless "bidding frenzy" in the pages of a newspaper.

I'm not suggesting we accept a pittance for the lad but his "value" will have undoubtedly dropped, much like it has for all footballers during this time.

He’s also worth less with 12 months left on his contract than 18. You can’t wait until the next window.

We won’t.   Everything going on in the press is just posturing. He’s 100% away for what will be a very healthy sum for the club.  The bids in January came very late in the window which was a large reason no deal was done.  Hibs put 3 bids in over the last day, with much longer for agreement to be made him leaving is inevitable.   This is just a case of how much.

He’ll be sold this window.  But he doesn’t need to be sold this week, or next, there’s plenty of time to figure out just how high Cubs are willing to go.

Jordan White signs for Motherwell.

Another youth product who improved after he left us.

He's done very well for himself but it took him a while to get there, he left us in 2011 after two fairly poor loan spells at Clyde and Dumbarton, he's had to go down to work his way up.

He’s going to get the Colin nish treatment isn’t he?

White left us in 2011 when we had be promoted to the spl.  It’s taken him 9 years to get himself to that level including several seasons where he was playing at a low level.

You can’t keep every youth product who might eventually have an ok career.

I’m actually struggling to think of any youth that we’ve massively missed out on by releasing them.  Where as you’ll get others who think templeman should have been kept cos he was able to do well in the part-time game.

Scrougal left on his own accord. Bryne I can maybe grant you but he wasn't unanimously popular with us and despite kicking on at livi he isn't that well thought of at dundee.  Rooney wasn't a youth product and rightly dumped.  Pat clarke?  No idea what he's doing now 1 good season at clyde reasonable squad player when he returned, finished by 29. Templeman played 90% of his career part-time.  Murdoch never established himself as 1st choice until he returned.  Potter had a decent career but if you look at who he was competing against at the time(skerla etc) and the fact in 10 years away only 3 were at a higher level than us.  Mchattie also left on his own accord and has had abit of a joke career since.

Potter wan never in our youth set-up. We signed him from Celtic in 1999.

Rooney? I'm assuming Shaun Rooney? Again never in our youth system.

Are you just listing players we have had, and have left to have done well elsewhere?

Stick in Nicky Clark as he's just been promoted with Dundee Utd (and Paul McMullen too), Allan McGregor who is number 1 at Sevco (not ours originally) and Noel Hunt. Your point is a lot of shite (as usual). Dick.

You're at it.

Confused as to who you mean by Crawford though.

What is your thoughts on el bakhtaoui coming bak ?

That's not happening.

We've had a good few youth products over the years but it can sometime take a few years for it to come together for them.

Blair Henderson was doing really well at Edinburgh City aswell, think he turned down our contract though?

Ryan Good fellow had a solid career in the lower leagues it seems.

Lewis Spence has done well, always thought he was a better player than Byrne tbh.

Finn Graham was in the Brechin side that dumped Rovers into league 1.

Paul Willis and Scott McBride kicked around for a while.

Scott Mercer has established himself as a championship full back, he's probably better thought off than Ryan Williamson.

Millen is in the Premier league, that's pretty mental.

I genuinely reckon Lewis McCann and Matty Todd have potential, even if they don't show it here I reckon they'll both have careers in the game.

Aye something about Lewis McCann makes me think he’s going to do pretty well for himself, even though he hasn’t been a particular standout for us yet.
