Walking Down The Halbeath Road

And Aberdeen could probably offer 100x the wages. Really is a no-brainer. We were utter dugmeat after Jimmy Calderwood left. Would you want to work for Davie Hay? Those were dark times.

People still upset at Gary Dempsey leaving for Aberdeen 14 years ago FFS.
He thought the club was shite under Davie Hay and wanted to leave. I don't blame him in the slightest as Hay was a fucking terrible manager for us.
Not upset in the slightest. I'd forgot he even signed for Aberdeen to be honest.

Fucked up tho. Was thinking of Owen Morrison.....

When Richie Byrne left as well, that was the final straw for me.

Before Slippy G there was Slippy L.

Actually he got a lot of grief from our fans, citing him as weak and unable to defend. The boy wasnt just strong enough, but quick as f**k too and a bit of a shame he's remembered for that slip.

People forget he had Larsson in his back pocket before that moment.

Can you imagine how different his career would have went if he'd brushed off Larsson in his last game for Celtic and we kept a clean sheet and won the Cup?

If ma aunt had baws she’d be ma uncle. As far as I can remember, Labonte was an ok player. Had an absolute horror second half in the Final though.

Yup, he was totally shaken up after the slip, which really wasn't his fault.

Still should have had a penalty when Balde punched the ball away though...

My inner 11 year old is crying all over again at that thought.

I’m more raging at the 2007 final though. Celtic were absolutely shite and we couldn’t capitalise.

Now that that’s settled, what a fucking shanner of a season, only eclipsed by the 14-15 debacle.

Total clear out required and a new, competent man needed at the helm. David Hopkin, SOS.
