Hey look, Falkirk have put in two dismal performances at home to Montrose and Forfar after signing a bunch of part-timers from England and declaring that they're serious title contenders after finishing 8th as now it's #theirtime  and suddenly they all flood in to the HR thread on a fishing trip.

Our new signings are looking great btw :)

I'm not really a fisherman, but it does seem to have nailed a few flounders. :thumsup2

Whatever stops you thinking about playing full-time teams bud

First league game of the season is ICT I think, they'll surely be part time by then. It's all good.

A once detested player by our supporters cheered onto and off the pitch, full backing and support given throughout the match. Proper decent, credible fans.

Meanwhile Falkirk sign a full new squad and every single new player is booed venomously off the park at half time in each of their opening fixtures. 'Our town, our team' indeed

There was a guy who got charged and found guilty for continually making monkey gestures toward Hippolyte was fined £450 in January this year. First time offender and a father of 3.   Shite behaviour.

There's no defence for this type of behaviour but this does not constitute or indeed indicate a major problem within our support regarding racial predjudice. There isn't a major problem with racism.

There have been fans banned in fairly recent times. Couple were given year bans (back this season) and one fan was given a 6 month ban and his first game back was in January this year. This was mainly for continuous unacceptable behaviour within EEP.  I beleive they were warned but chose not to listen, apparently.

One fan was given a ban for his behaviour in the Norrie against Falkirk after it was pointed out.

Our fans are no worse than a other clubs and point scoring is utterly pontiless and futile.

Bottom line is it depends on how your home games are policed, how effective the management of the Stewards is on matchday, the collective will of fellow fans in dealing with it at source etc

There's nothing worse than squealing wee Internet bitches spouting off about fellow fans but did the square root of zero to tackle it when it happened.

Anyway, what a load of negative garbage.

Hyppolyte isn't loved by all Pars fans (yet) but mainly because he was a diving kent and nothing to do with his skin colour.

Football fans being the fickle sort they are, I'm sure he'll be a folk hero the first time he dives for a penalty. And gets away with it, at any rate.

He got a good reception when he came off last night because he'd played well and obviously scored.

He'll need to sustain that standard of play however, as will the rest of the team because as you say fans are fickle.

When did we last score a proper diving header? To many players try and awkwardly get their foot to it and miss.

Long may he continue to Myles it

Derek Fleming at Dens Park in 1995. Andy Tod scored an overhead kick too, what a night.

Nicky Clark scored one from a Jason Talbot cross against St Mirren in the 4-3 game of 16-17. His first goal for the club iirc.

What a game! Couldn't name anything better than a seven goal thriller evening kick off in the winter after being on the piss all day.
