Nearly. This players first name is the non-palindromic spelling of that name.

I'm glad I didn't step on that satanic hot plate...:green

To be honest, I'm biding my time until one of your fans gets lifted for racially abusing Hippo again. I can only really work with the material you guys provide.

Trying not to mention Fl00d unless he turns back up like Freddie Kruger and signs for one of us.

The irish players' name will be never mentioned for the fear that he appears as a signing at your club, like a corrupted hobbit taking rings in lieu of wages.

It's fine, he's signing for Partick now.

Don't blame you for hiding over here m8.

I'd be really worried too if I'd got all excited about my new team and it turned out they were a bunch of utter diddies.

Cheers boys. Enjoyed that.

Enough hilarity with the infiltrators. Pre season is over and the real games are about to begin. What would be the strongest team in your opinion, taking injuries into account?

Squad

Lee Robinson
Sean Murdoch
Cammy Gill

Ryan Williamson
Jackson Longridge
Lewis Martin
Lee Ashcroft
Danny Devine
Mark Durnan

Tom Beadling
Joe Thomson
James Vincent
James Craigen
Kallum Higginbotham
Aidan Connolly
Louis Longridge

Myles Hippolyte
Faissal El Bakhtaoui
Andy Ryan
Callum Smith

Mine would abandon the 3-5-2 and return to 4-4-2

Robinson

Williamson
Martin
Ashcroft
J Longridge

Higginbotham
Thomson
Vincent
Connolly

Smith
El Bakhtaoui

Bench

Gill
Durnan
Devine
Craigen
Hippolyte
Ryan
L Longridge

Not sure yet,but this has got to be the most turbulent pre season in terms of squad movement in a long time, for good and bad.

From Clark and Aird jumping ship, some randoms signing, Willo Flood then Hippofais, it's been mental.

Might take abit of time until we see a settled starting 11.

I think AJ is quite keen to go 3-4-1-2

That will probably end up being

Robinson(though I'd prefer murdoch if he gets fit)

Durnan
Ashcroft
Martin

Williamson
Beadling
Thomson
J.longridge

Higgy/l.longridge

Faiss
Ryan

If we go 4-4-2 then connaly comes in for Martin.

Not convinced by Martin at CB. For me, I’d go 4-3-3:

Robinson

Williamson
Durnan
Ashcroft
J Longridge

Thomson
Craigen
Vincent

Hippolyte
Faiss
L Longridge

Subs
Gill
Martin
Devine
Connolly
Higginbotham
Ryan
Smith

Some merit in that except you’re looking too far ahead, Beadling unavailable - rethink?

Not convinced Ryan is the answer to partner Faissal. Smith would offer more in terms of pressing and generally making a nuisance of himself up front which is the sort of role I saw McManus would have filled if he’d hung around. This worked before in the Moffat/El Bak partnership and creates the holes that El Bak can exploit. I’d see Hippo being interchangeable with Smith and Ryan being a sub for Faissal.

James keatings and Paul McMullan are apparently being let go by United I would take them 2 back but preferably keatings

Keatings back? Did I miss his spell with us?

Think we’ve got plenty midfield/striker cover now. No doubt both are decent and offer goals.

What are United thinking about if this happens?

Keatings has just come back from a horrible injury so that would be a huge gamble on someone who wouldn't exactly be on cheap wages, and I wasn't too impressed by McMullan last season.
