I don't think it's necessarily directed at just her. If there was someone else in that position, they'd get it too. Despite the "WOMEN'S REVOLUTION!" the writers are often still stuck in a shit version of the Attitude Era with playground Mean Girls bullshit. Can't remember what podcast it was I was listening to, but it's easy to just slightly change the storyline and make it much better. You can still play up the age gap, but put it down as experience. Bliss says she's lost a step, James countering by pointing out her experience and all her titles and that she will benefit from Bliss being too green. But no, instead we get adult nappies.
