dave_binos
Dumb and Dumber Absolute classic, easily one of the best comedy films of all time! 10/10
Vanquinho.
The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift 8/10 I liked this film quite a bit, might be because I'm right into cars. Maybe not.
Gaz
Over the past few days: Pride And Glory A pretty formulaic cop thriller in the end. Edward Norton and Jon Voight are both excellent, as usual, and their performances give it an extra mark. I'd give it a 6/10. W Really enjoyed this. Very fascinating and great performances all round, especially from Josh Brolin, James Cromwell and Richard Dreyfuss.
H_B
I watched that and just kept thinking, let the gangsters take your damn boyfriend. I thought the homeless guy was going to shoot him in the third one.

The Minertaur
Run, Lola, RunGerman film about three alternate possibilities when a girl has to find 100,000 marks to save her boyfriend from gangsters. Excellent and a bit weird. 8/10. I remember watching this at High School - really enjoyed it! Last couple of nights have been spent watching the Silence of The Lambs and Hannibal on ITV2. Both were excellent and would give both at least 9/10. Had to explain the ending of the second one to my flatmate who couldnt understand how Lector lost his hand at the end as opposed to him cutting of Starlings hand!
SaltyTON
The Man Who Knew Too Little (1997) Good fun, with a good screen partnership between Bill Murray and Willow's on-screen beau Joanne Whalley. Sadly Richard Wilson was in it, but everything has to have a negative. Actually quite ingenious to get a film that has a plot that no-one in it seems to know about! 8/10

YOGI IS GOD
Hunger - Steve McQueen, 2008, 5 star review in Guardian Saw it at GFT, its about Bobby Sands and the hunger strikers during the Thatcher years, really thought provoking. Really well made film, acting is fantastic, in particular Michael Fassbender who plays Bobby Sands. Its still on at the GFT and a couple of cinemas in Edinburgh - I'd highly recommend it. Kejan
Burn after reading 7.5/10 Pretty funny storyline. Pitt, McDormand, Clooney, Malkovic and Jenkings are all pretty fantastic in this and I quite enjoyed, clever at stages and a few laugh out loud moments but def's not the Coen's best film

Supras
Lucky Number Slevin 6/10 Quite a strange movie, a clever plot but two very strange villans. Tried to do 2 things at once, surreal villans not wanting to leave their towers (which happened to be opposite) and a tough gangster villan which uses plastic bags to kill people But it failed to do either in my opinion Not nearly as good as I thought it would be.
TheDoctor
Predator (1987) Classic Arnie actioner where he leads a crack Special Forces into the jungle on a rescue mission to find he and his team are being stalked and hunted by an alien. I haven't seen this for years and forgot how bloody good it is. 8/10
Ayrgirl
Away from her 8/10 It's about an Alzheimers-inflicted wife who moves into a care home but then forgets her adoring husband. Very sad and poignant. Probably not every-ones cup of tea but in my line of work I really enjoyed it. I did have a wee
Savage Henry
Where The Buffalo Roam (1980) In theory it's based on the early work of Hunter S Thompson, but actually it's more of a slapstick comedy with a bit of social satire and a suggestion of the life of Oscar Acosta, a lawyer friend of Thompson who ended up dead someplace. It's all right, in parts funny, and Bill Murray is great in the role of the Doc alongside Peter Boyle, but it's a bit of a cartoon and the script sometimes stinks. 5/10

Gaz
Zack And Miri Make A Porno I can't help but like Seth Rogen. Whether it's because he's a great comedy actor or just a fat bloke who looks bemused at how famous he is, he's great. And this is a very funny movie - helped in no small way by Kevin Smith's dialogue. I'd give it an 8/10.
