I know it was on C5 last night, but i dont' think there has ever been a more repeated film on Sky.

It's never off!

I've still never watched it though.

Don't it's awful. It's been on C5 a few times as well now, hopefully it will never be on again as I fear the tv will have my boot in it if I channel surf and catch any of it!

Iron Man.

I'm a big fan of Marvel stuff having been an avid reader of the comics as a kid. For some reason, I could never take to Iron Man in the comics, usually skipped past his stories, and now years later, I kinda feel the same about this film, it totally passed me by. It's not a bad movie, just felt it was all a bit forced, with little in the way of any real storyline or character development. Mind you, a few 'origin' Marvel adaptations are a bit like that.

Watched Serenity again this evening. Absolute genius of a film. Really is one of my favourites of all time.

Would recommend watching the series Firefly that it was based on for the backstory and more on the characters but still a good film in its own right.

If you havent seen Firefly then 7.5/10, if you have seen Firefly then 10/10.

Guest Raul Duke

Eden Lake - 8/10

Good british horror about a couple who go for a romantic break to a rural english town. They get imbroiled in an argument with a local gang of kids and all hell breaks loose in the woods. One of the better horror/thriller movies i've seen.

Eagle eye - absolutly terrible film, starts off ok then just loses the plot. 4/10

Frost/Nixon - really enjoyable and well acted. 8/10

Chocolate - not the johnny depp one,but the thai movie from the guy that done ong bak and warrior king, cheesy story but amazing fight scenes.if you enjoyed ong bak or warrior king you will enjoy this. 7/10

Ghost Town - i can't stand p***ky gervais doing his david brent routine in every film he is in so im kind of biased in my opinion of this movie. It has the odd laugh here and there but pretty poor all in all 4/10

Frankie boyle live - Very funny indeed one of the best stand up comedians going about just now, well worth a watch and if anybody goes to his live show, don't sit near the front of the audience.lol. 9/10

zac & miri make a porn - mmm so-so has a few laughs but tends to rely on toilet humour for most of the gags, gets a tad boring after a while. 5/10

Wall-e - really good film for all ages, they took a big risk making an animated movie aimed at kids with hardly any dialogue but it works well. 8/10

Die Hard With a Vengeance ( 1995 )

A lot of good fun to be had here. Jeremy Irons is absolutely amazing in this. He's the highlight of the whole thing, although there are plenty of good things about this movie. It's all action from start to finish and rarely takes a break.

Waltz with Bashir

This is an animated documentary about the Arab-Israeli conflict. It's pretty powerful but also contains a few surreal dream sequences and some comedy moments, including an animated porno.

Very unusual but also very good.

9/10

Where did you see that? I can't find anywhere near me showing it. They all seem to prefer Four Christmases, the smash hit comedy in which Vince Vaughan has to endure, you guessed it, Four Christmases, with hilarious consequences.

Ah, you have missed the important bit, he and his girlfriend have really dysfunctional families. That's what elevates it from formulaic rubbish to the smash hit it's going to be.
