A public sale of Scottish Cup final tickets to Hearts and Hibs fans looks unlikely as the two clubs today revealed details of how the prized briefs will be carved up.

Both clubs announced that they will be concentrating their efforts on their respective priority systems with the focus on season ticket holders for the match which will take place at Hampden on Saturday, May 19.

• Tickets will go on sale next Thursday lunchtime

• Both clubs have been allocated 20, 000 tickets

• Ticket prices are £35 for the North and South Stands, £28 for the East and West Stands and £10 for those aged 15 years and under.

HEARTS

Supporters of the Tynecastle club will occupy the South, West and North stands of Hampden with fans holding a minimum of 40 loyalty points at the head of the Tynecastle side's queue.

Fans with 8-39 loyalty points can purchase their tickets from 9am on Thursday, May 3, with sales being restricted to one ticket per customer.

Tickets can be bought through the club website, over the phone or at the Tynecastle ticket office.

Hearts end will have a lot of Falkirk fans in it for some reason.

Spoke to a lot of guys yesterday who are going and none of them for some reason are in the Hibs end.

Can't blame them for wanting the big team to win mate.

It may be gloryhunting as most people expect Hearts to win.

None of them seemed keen to go, I sense they have Jambo mates who rarely go and need an escort.

I doubt it, I can't understand why Falkirk fans would have more than 20 loyalty points with Hearts to be able to purchase a ticket in the first place, and after Tuesday you still need more than 8 loyalty points with there being hardly any tickets left.

Anyone thought about going retro for the final?. I think i may order this http://www.sportsdirect.com/umbro-new-york-cosmos-classic-track-jacket-374513?colcode=37451316. I would have ordered this http://www.toffs.com/Hibernian-1977-...ductinfo/2092/ but it takes 4 weeks to deliver

Why would they even want to go?

Going along to watch two teams you don't support?

Cringey!

I don't know but I assure you there are a few Falkirk fans with Jambo tickets.

Going by your loyalty points system I know a few people who are going in the Hibs end, they got their tickets from a Hibs season ticket holder who can't make the game.

People get offered tickets to major sporting events they go.

Falkirk had 12,000 at Hampden in 09 but only about 4500 fans that watched our home league game.

You are seriously misguided if you think both Hibs and Hearts have about 23,000 fans that aren't interested in another club.

How many did you have v Barcelona for that friendly? Did you think they were all Jambos?

I'd advise against opening that can of worms.

They were all jambos, every one of them. Only reason it wasn't a sell-out was because the rest of them were at the Royal Highland Show.

If they go to falkirk games they are not Hearts fans.

Its not a hard concept.

Fans can buy one ticket, why would they give that to some no mark that supports Falkirk?

Football tickets have a habit of ending up in strange places when you are dealing with so many.

You should've seen some of the "fans" who landed tickets for the Rangers UEFA cup final.

It is maybe sponsors tickets or such like they have.

Your old hero Gary Locke was at Westfield yesterday, maybe he was passing out tickets.
