I got one last week. I use the forum at scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk and when it was announced people were predicting that, as Caol Ila have a history of supplying supermarkets. But so do Bowmore, and most people having tasted it are guessing Bowmore, and I’d probably agree.

Whatever it is, I've got a glass of it just now (bought this afternoon) and I'm loving how silky smooth it is.  Lovely stuff.  :)

BB&R's Speyside blend is on Amazon for just over £20 at the moment so I decided to add to the growing stockpile.

Aye, I've ordered it and the Peated one. Got the Islay cask earlier in the week for £20 too.

Thoughts on Naked Grouse. Quite enjoy myself

I like it too.  Excellent middle-of-the-road (taste wise) party dram when you don't want folk to tank your expensive stuff, but you don't want to be seen as the guy who only dishes out the rough blends.

Ben Bracken 16 is definitely* Bowmore.

* not definitely but I’d bet quite a lot that it is. I consumed a lot of Bowmore between 02 & 08.

And then what happened?

I stopped working for Bowmore.

Im taking an educated guess at

105/10/15/21/25

That is the same 5 pack taster the whisky exchange sell
@GiGi that's the lineup right enough.

Ever tried the 17yo? Im not sure if these ages are made up differently or theyre all just sherried malts and increasingly older statements?
