Im not sure if these ages are made up differently or theyre all just sherried malts and increasingly older statements? I have and it's good but I prefer the 21 and the 15. The 15 is a value buy because it's slightly stronger than the others at 46% as well, I wish Glenfarclas would bottle all their whisky at that abv and above. The profiles are all pretty similar though, they're all sherried. I think the casks they've used the last couple of years taste a wee bit tired which is a shame. They'll need to cycle them out.
GiGi
Also I just got an email about this and was pretty intrigued https://www.douglaslaing.com/shop/old-particular-glenrothes-christmas-edition/ But at £150 they can do one. That's taking the piss.

Fair play to them.
V.Aye.R
Funnily enough I’m currently doing a Glenfarclas tasting. It’s 10/17/21/25 for us.Who is the tasting through? I had a cask strength 25yo that SWA released for their 100th auction. Was good to try something that old at full strength
Archie McSquackle
I cracked open the Lidl 16yo Islay last night. Just as lovely as everyone has been saying. Nice level of peatiness with enough oak to balance the flavour.

JW green (15yo malt) is at the ridiculous £28 on amazon too. £88 well spent.

Every Rioja cask whisky I’ve had I’ve loved, but every Ledaig I’ve had I’ve hated. Intrigued.

Don't know what's in it these days. I spoke before about old blends from auction being worth a go and white horse is one of those worth picking up if you can find old bottles. Would have Lagavulin in it but probably also generous helping of 60s/70s Craigellachie and Glen Elgin

mathematics
It was my dad that bought me it so I just assumed it was some variety of Scheme Springs. Might actually open it now.
