He's not long turned 19.

How many of Celtic's current 1st XI are 19 or under?, What about at any clubs?

He's still very young. He'll serve his apprenticeship and will probably have to settle for u21 football or playing league 1 or 2 until/to prove himself.

Let's be honest, he'll never make it at Chelsea

I don't blame him for joining them, but if he wants to develop as a player, it won't do him any good playing U21 football, he would be better leaving, finding an english club in the Championship, League 1, or even coming back to Scotland. play first team football.

Look at Jack Cork, he kept getting tipped as a great young player, all Chelsea done was loan him out, year after year.

If he's on about £20k a week then it's probably as well to play for Chelsea and be loaned out every season than leave and end up being paid £2k a week by these clubs directly.

He could seek career advice from John Fleck.

Chelsea apparently had 51 signed players last year...and 26 were out on loan. You can't see the boy getting anywhere the first team when there are 50 others floating about.

If he's been coining in as much as people say on here and has a few bob in the bank, maybe he'll consider turning out for us on an amateur contract just to keep his hand in.

I vaguely remember the name - what did he do?

What did he not do? More court appearances than Premiership goals. Rapes, assaults etc. Had gang links too, and would rather hang about with his gang than train/play. He also has Ranger tattooed on his face. Fud.

Missed the 100,000 who signed petitions to stop him from playing League football....

Of our 2006, U19 Euro runners up squad, Garry Kenneth, Lee Wallace, Robert Snodgrass, Steven Fletcher, Graham Dorrans and Michael McGlinchey (New Zealand) have gone on to international caps, with Simon Ferry, Scott Fox and Mark Reynolds having gone on to a reasonable level. However only Snodgrass and Fletcher have really had an impact on the senior team.

And Kenneth now plays Junior.
