French film due out soon.. Goal-of-the-Dead.jpg

Was that goal classed as onside because the scorer didn't come back from the dead until the ball came back off the post?

Dumbarton is a shitehole and I've never had that as my location - that's because I've never offered any location information.

So you backing king or not?

Hi Bennett

That is one way to go about it, but I'm not sure that the fans or King have a strong enough hand to play the 'confrontation' game.

If you're asking for my opinion (which you probably aren't), from a financial perspective (as far as I've understood it), the subsidiary has the brand, the properties and the onerous running costs.

Confrontation may lead to an even quicker 'clearing of the decks' (i.e. the holding company either shifts or secures the remaining assets against the current loan), leaving the club/subsidiary with nothing but the 'brand' and a pile of loss making/onerous contracts.

Of course, this could be just my speculation, but it's certainly what I'd be thinking of doing if it were my cash and I was in it for the money.

I think 'sabre rattling' is a dangerous game to play just now.

Yours

aDONis

If it's going to happen then it's going to happen, no point in continuing to line their pockets when we know whats going to happen in the end.

Ofcourse there is a good chance that it'll go tits up but if there is no change then that will happen anyway.

Team Easdale all the way for me. At least you know if season ticket money doesn't come in, they'll just burn down the main stand and claim the insurance.

Is Bendy actually from round Govan way? I thought he was one of those more, er, "global" members of the rangers family. Angus, or Lothian way - something like that.

Anyhoo, his output today promises to be entertaining. Anyone who can handle two dabbers at once will have a clear advantage when they call "eyes down!".:lol::lol:

Bendarroch is disgraced former poster IXI_THEONE_IXI. edit: or [email protected], forgot he'd changed his name.

Have a read at this thread and notice the similarities in posting style; http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/135424-st-mirren-craig-thomson-v-rngers/

Then laugh as you realise he has no credibility whatsoever (if you didn't know that by now, anyway).

It is fucking hilarious watching them rally behind a convicted fraudster and tax cheat. I know it's an overused phrase, but you really couldn't make this up.

Back in the summer of 2012 a few posters made the point that this would run and run. Quite incredible that we are almost two years on and this story rumbles on. It does seem like it could go on indefinitely now with no end of spivs lining up for their turn to fleece the stupid faithful.

Just hope zombie co. survive long enough for us to give them a going over in the Ramsdens. Then another new co. and a return to division 2 for the orc hordes!

Why, can anyone tell me, would they put money into a "trust" managed by a convicted financial crook, rather than simply pay at the gate? Do they really need some kind of father figure to unite under?

Or do they just want to make sure they've got somebody to blame when it all goes breasts skyward again?

They should really be reading a wee bit Burns and having a muse:

O wad some Pow'r the giftie gie usTo see oursels as others see usIt wad frae monie a blunder free usAn' foolish notionWhat airs in dress an' gait wad lea'e usAn' ev'n Devotion

I would certainly put money into a trust managed by Dave King, and I'm not even a Rangers supporter.

In fact as soon as I get the £1.2 million pound promised to me from an exiled Nigerian banker for which I've only had to give £20k I'll probably put a few bob Mr King's way.?

Say it isn't so Graham.

@Pmacgiollabhain: Why is a very senior chap from Deloittes in Glasgow today from London?

So how does this trust thingy work?

Surely they can't expect to be in reciept of their season ticket and therefore access to matches until the club/ company receive their cash. Are they really going to give their Season ticket money to a convicted fraudster, a glib and shameless liar, as a protest and then not go to the games anyway if the club tells King to bolt?

This is gonna be great!

Their tickets are given out as "loans" which don't need to be paid back, this is confirmed with a "side letter". Later on when it turns out that these tickets are actually for the wee merry - go - round at Strathclyde Country park and not a sporting event it will be determined that this is neither fraud nor cheating, but deliberate and sustained piss taking.
