Newbornbairn
BBC reporting Dundee in SPL - congratulations. All that money spent chasing the dream when all they had to do was wait on another team of cheats to go bust.
JohnnyB
They are even getting a kicking in the gaming world! Will Rangers be part of FIFA 13? http://www.joe.ie/entertainment/video-games/will-rangers-be-part-of-fifa-13-ea-sports-have-their-say-0026917-1

Paulo Sergio
Welcome back after a long overdue absence IMO. Without doubt the biggest team in the First Division and it gives us the Dundee Derby back. Edited July 16, 2012 by Paulo Sergio

Cobardon
I think they will get a very decent support initially as they will rally round and put a brave face on things, however I expect the attendance to drop as the season goes on and if they are still not in the top tier next season, then they will struggle to attract relatively decent crowds. The other thing people tend to forget when calculating season ticket and ticket income is that a substantial percentage of football crowds are concessions. The widely reported three-years-worth of season tickets that Ticketus bought up was usually mentioned as £24. In the SPL. Hard to see ticket income increasing in Division 3.

Granny Danger
1. Hopefully less wet knickers for a while. 2. Nine easy points for United in the coming season. 3. Doncaster and Regan must go for the credibility of scottish football (or at least what is left of it). Edit to add: agree with HJ, let's get on with the football. But I'm going to miss this thread. stonedsailor
It's over, justice has been done, Rangers are dead, welcome to Scottish football Sevco Scotland I hope that your inaugural season is not blighted too much by the former Rangers fans who are about to latch on to your club.
CityDave
Someone quoted the running costs of Ibrox as just over £1m per month. If the actual figure is anything like that, they would surely struggle in the 3rd. I think they will gamble that they will get out of the 3rd at the first attempt and run with any debts and then further on knowing that in 3 years they will be back in the SPL and they can easily settle any accumulation.
