Claymores
You'd have to include the 5 SFL Quisling in that... only Dumbarton and Brechin can claim to have directly acted on the basis of fan polls of some kind (votes at meetings), but in both cases it was small number and somewhat disputed in terms of how it was presented. Also, for all we know, Johnstone actually abstained in opposition to the attempted stick-up over "the SFL1 compromise" and/or SPL2. It was not allowed to abstain - in the SFL rulebook
GLESGABOY
Sorry - you got the wrong place. - It's www.dailyrecord.co.uk/hotline for that type of stream of consciousness drivel.
THE KING
One of the rare occassions in which Rangers will be doing the right thing, while you're mob are sticking the middle finger up to Scottish football. I doubt it they'll probably be boycotting them.
HibeeJibee
It was not allowed to abstain - in the SFL rulebook Johnstone = Kilmarnock. In SPL vote.
coqofthenorth
Somebody turn out the lights when they leave................no idea of social implications,no idea of economic implications,no idea of whats just occurred today. Lots of back slapping and well dones to each other in amongst the usual low rent diatribe and social bile. "We have the power...." no you don`t. Watch this space as the dominos start to tumble....... Finance from the SKY deal first followed by the trickle of other meaningful investment that all the champions of sporting integrity rely on every year to balance the books. Please don`t run out the old argument about "we had football before we had SKY/television rights and we can have it again" The fact is that the clubs then weren`t run on such a reckless manner and the overheads relative to income were always managed responsibly. Clubs now frequently live beyond their means, Rangers/Sevco/Orcs or whatever witless title that they have today are case in point. The Scottish game at grass roots will be the first to suffer from the number of clubs that wind down their already fragile youth policies because of reductions in revenue. It`s the first place that cuts get made when times get hard. We are now officially on the road to becoming a footballing backwater.Well done everybody, let the self congratulation begin............ On the plus side with the number of "never going back" posters on here I`m sure the local high streets will all be looking forward to receiving your hard earned cash at the end of every week.... kerrrching!!!!!!!! Sometime a picture paints a 1,000 words. Should have included this with you nonsense rant Jim.

Itwiznaeme
I am assuming your laughing at Real Madrid having to play a diddy team in a friendly!!! And not about Peterhead having to play a diddy team in the League
JustOneCornetto
Heard the news as a passing comment on 5 Live in the car. Pleasing. 25-5 - what an effect the addresses by Regan and Green must have had. Whill they hold onto their bigger players now and actually see out a season - time will tell. Farewell 3rd division record attendance. That was my first thought too - never believed the 8,400 against Peterhead would be beaten

Tryfield
Now get behind your clubs - and prove that they were right to back us - come what may! Correct. Once confirmed our chairman did the right thing......it'll be Somerset tomorrow for the friendly against Motherwell, an away top for the lad and a home top for me. £100 well spent and my form for the direct debit lottery will be posted. Some faith has been restored in our chairman and Scottish football in general. It has been wonderful seeing the men who only think about £ notes squirming.
GLESGABOY
Motherwells budget was cut for this year before any of this shit kicked off, watch this space for more cuts and news of more "concsciousness drivel" filtering its way down to you and your ilk from your board of directors in the near future. But as you and your merry band of men have repeatedly stated , youll be more than happy because you will still have your sporting integrity intact. Alls well that ends well if you`ll pardon the pun.... Paddy Power have just opened a book on which clubs are most likely to fall in the wake of todays decision......guess where Motherwell come in the list?????? -
Larsson.
Then in my opinion you are as low and spiteful as any former Rangers fan I have met or read posts from. This was about justice not revenge, you are the type of supporter which Archie MacPhearson described on TV last night. Rangers were the only villains in this situation. If fans want to find out the rats who voted yes then boycott said club then they have every right to do so,

Superb decision despite the efforts of the scumbag press to frighten everyone with tales of Armageddon. Well done everyone who wrote to their clubs, to the sfl, the sfa, the papers, whatever. A fine and proud day for the Scottish fitbaw!!

Regan overheard assuring Charles Green Sevco will be parachuted into Ist position in La Liga with Barca and Real handed a 50 point deduction.Plus Sevco guaranteed a £1 billion transfer warchest as a thank you gesture for their committment to sporting integrity.Warned chairmen worldwide if this doesn't happen there will be global nuclear war by teatime.
Thumper
I'm still wating on evidence that ICT are going to go bust within 5 years without Rangers. © Fat Rangers fans in Inverness. Do you still have a sign advertising season tickets which promises access to games against Celtic and Rangers? Another grim casualty of this debacle.
