Of course, it could just be Johnston is hoping all the ex-Rangers fans in Kilmarnock (which must be 70% of the town's population ) go to Killie games instead. After today's overwhelming vote are the SPL chairmen going to risk the wrath of their fans on this? I don't think so. So if the SFL clubs vote newco into Division 1 they are doing so on the basis that would greatly reduce the chance of other clubs in that division winning promotion next year. Any ambitious 1st Division club must oppose this any lobby against it. Would The Rangers with sanctions win the First Division next season? I seriously doubt it at present. If Killie did abstain without a good ( still to be revealed ) reason Then I CAN'T go back to rugby park till mj leaves. I'm still naively holding out that Rangers will get the Airdre United treatment & be told that allowing a club right back in who have not taken responsibility for the debts they have made would be setting a terrible precedent that could harm other clubs ability to borrow cash.
