~~~ Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Probably mentioned earlier - McCulloch, Boyd, Mohsni, Black, Smith, Daly, Foster, Hutton, Simonson, Robinson and Faure have all left Rangers. McCulloch is on the run from the police 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
THE KING Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Probably mentioned earlier - McCulloch, Boyd, Mohsni, Black, Smith, Daly, Foster, Hutton, Simonson, Robinson and Faure have all left Rangers. No manager, no players, no investment, no nomad, apart from that.. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
THE KING Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 For impersonating a football player?[/size] Everybody's first thought on hearing that. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pete's Frontier Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 King said he would spend spend spend but wouldn't put a figure on it - unlike the £30m kiddies inheritance, he said previously would be invested in TRIFC. Get buying those season books, berrz. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
THE KING Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Surely Rangers fans should force Davys' hand? You cough up first ,then we will invest ,not the other way around? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kiddy Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Was todays '"warchest" story not 'succulent' enough for 'Klaxxon' Jackson to put his name to it? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dr Koop Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 What in the name of f**k does "over invest" even mean? Is this recognised buisness speak or some other way of saying that they are going to pish the money up against the wall? It means piss more up the wall after spending £100m plus winning the bottom tiers of Scottish senior football when it can be done at a fraction of the cost. Keeping up appearances. Monkey Tennis Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) Amazing stuff from King today. I'll resist the urge to predict another insolvency, because it really might not pan out that way. To have the chairman however - given recent history - talk of overspending on purpose, is just, just astonishing. Why on earth is there a tolerance among fans for such mental talk? Why won't he name a figure that he intends to see reached, by a combination of ST sales and his own group's "investment"? Even if this guy didn't have the back story he does, that should be ringing alarm bells. It's honestly incredible that even after all this, no Rangers figure can say that they'll aim to balance the books and then see what can be achieved on the field. Seriously, that club is institutionally bonkers. Edited June 8, 2015 by Monkey Tennis 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ayenaebother Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Seen a quote saying shirt sales have dropped from 500,000 to 50 thousand hence King's eagerness to renegotiate with sports direct contractually... 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bennett Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 "Why won't he name a figure that he intends to see reached" I remember pulling my hair out when Murray used to come out and announce exactly how much we had to spend and clubs demanded more for players. While celtic always kept schtum abiut how much they had and played hardball. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Podlie Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Ha, pay up or I'm nae investing!Can't see King winning the fans over with that approach. Prob been better if they came out and said every £1 from a ST we will match this season. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
