The former club is guilty, as a corporate entity. This is simply nonsense. If a chairman/CEO commits fraud it doesn't, ipso facto, mean that the legal entity has committed fraud. One could well argue that our directors were negligent, stupid and supine and I'd not disagree. To suggest, though, that this amounts to the club committing fraud is fanciful to the point of malice.
