I don't actually think No8 was too far wide of the mark on this.

I do. I can't see why Celtic would be stupid enough to do something like this when its obvious they could face consequences from it. Only their fans are that stupid and let's face it, they would've spelt genius wrong anyway.

There are no consequences - just plead ignorance.

I doubt very much if it's been done as an official club endorsement of the IRA.

It wouldn't astonish me however if those that went with the cover, were aware of the Republican connotations of such a design in this context.

Aye, there will be many angry people if Rangers win

Disillusioned, disappointed and disgusted, maybe.

I reckon you'll see a lot more anger if the decision goes against rangers and Charlie's new lot.

As rangers are currently undergoing liquidation, Tedi, what would it take to constitute a "win", really?

The club died, and if the EBTs were properly administered (aye, OK), and the players were correctly registered (yeah, whatever you say) - that's two "wins" on the bounce, yet you're still following an Ersatz rangers while the originals are settling in at Rose Cottage. (NHS reference). So why did your great institution die?

Did you deserve better?

BBC finally getting the picture, when will P & B?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21283401

The commission will decide if the company that formerly ran the club broke Scottish Premier League rules.

Probably when the Orcs find out the addresses of non-rangers posters, and their windows.

Thick orc ! that's not what the UK law says bub.Your club/company died and then the club was reformed again from bits and pieces stuck together with some sticky back plastic and washing up bottles and looks like the old club.

Your desperation to say that it's the very same club is totally laughable because that would then involve the HMRC wanting it's money owed from Whytes tenure if it were the same club.

Is this the same BBC ?

Rangers newco has been refused permission to continue an arbitration process established by the oldco over players who left Ibrox when the club filed for insolvency.

Someone else posted this earlier,.

Don't get too cocky about what the BBC say tedi, It seems like they cant figure it out. :)

Also this was on the BBC website from May last year.

Rangers' administrators are expected to submit a proposal to bring the club out of administration via a Company Voluntary Arrangement by Monday.

I mean if it's the company that's in administration then how can it be the club that's sopposedly here that is trying to get a CVA pushed through ?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18201352

Then not long after we get this club is seperate from the company shite in a vain attempt to sway the orcs to follow a brand new cloned club.

Edit for bad shpeelling

This is going to go Rangers' way I think. I've just got a feeling about it.

I'm kinda dreading this written decision.

Strange that the SPL was represented by fat Rodney, especially when we've previously been assured that he was only involved in a low level role.

I think we all need a wee deadline or two, just for old times sake. We need to get back on track.

Or maybe a quantum to tide us over. I miss Soccerball Bill and the extremely rich Chinese Gentleman.....

Could we not have a quantum of deadlines? That has a nice ring to it.

If the Commission members get police protection would that be a quantum of polis? I'll just get my coat, then

They would have privately already decided on Rangers guilt (the deid one). However, we won't know the official decision and statement till a few weeks later. They'll know full well they'll be unrest towards them regardless of the decision. I suspect they'll find oldco guilty, but will give them the most punitive punishments that they can get away with. Like they've done in the past. They'll probably be down in England. abroad or some secret location within Scotland when the decision is made public.

The horse test holds good here - if you hear approaching hoofbeats, do you think "Aha - here comes a zebra?".

Because most people would think, "those hoofbeats mean that there's a horse headed my way", and the word "zebra" wouldn't occur, because there just aren't many zebras around.

Same thing with this - the obvious, horsey explanation is that it's a reference to the universally-recognised Men at Work sign, a symbol that would be recognised by all, even by small children.

The oddball zebra explanation is that it's a highly obscure reference to the IRA. Well, it may be, but you really would have to think of the Celtic View as a bunch of mental republican fanatics sitting around an office inventing devious codes, rather than as a bunch of boring PR flacks pushing a commercial enterprise, which they are.

I mean, it could be either the zebra or the horse. But it's probably the horse.

When this thread finally comes to a conclusion. Maybe it should be packed up and shipped to a psychiatric college for the instruction of the future generation of psychiatrists in the tell-tale signs and what to look out for in cases of schizophrenic behaviour.

It's beyond me; what these people lie awake at night and think about.

Anyway back on track. Is there a deadline as to when the tribunal have to release their findings? :thumsup2
