Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

BBC Scotland news reported on Charles Green's radio interview, where he apparently said Rangers were 'demoted' to Div 3 due to bigotry.

Surely the SPL / SFA will be hauling him in to ask for an explanation? What price another charge of bringing the game into disrepute?

Are Green and McCoist just plain stupid, or are they deliberately being utter gobshites in an attempt to goad the footballing authorities?

Just sent this email to the SFA..........

Dear sir/madam I have just been watching on BBC Alba the game between Brechin City and The Rangers. Can you please confirm that you will be investigating not only the television and radio footage, but also the video recording made by the police (which they were clearly shown doing) and taking action against The Rangers Football Club for the singing of banned songs. Your association has made it known on many an occasion that it will not stand for such bigotry and that any proof of such action would be severely dealt with. Well the proof was for all to see and hear today, not only by those at the ground, but also those watching and listening at home. If this is the type of behaviour that we can expect to be the norm from such fans, and not a minority today, then I am afraid that David Longmuir's statement this afternoon that The Rangers fans will be made welcome to the grounds they visit in the SFL, will be yet another ill-judged view of what is going on in Scottish football by the authoritise that are charged with looking after our national game. You know what you have to do.

The SFL have to make a statement before the season starts. I said (thousands of pages ago) that getting sellic and newco as far apart in the leagues would be a chance to get those "clubs" to weed out those responsible and the SFL and, for that matter the SPL, should be making it clear to both that POINTS DEDUCTIONS will be imposed otherwise.

Would be interesting to see how that affected league positions.

Today was a snapshot of the future. Imperialist savages off the park and overpaid diddies on it, Sevco are very much identi-kit Rangers.

The only talk of constitutional reform we've heard is that of Sevco being jumped a division or two. Nothing else.

Surely Green canny get away with comments about all us diddy fans being bigotted, ffs. What planet is he from? Comments like that from a CEO are bringing the game into disrepute.

I had to laugh at some of the media coverage about the benefits to local the local economy etc. You would think it was a few thousand Mississipi High Rollers coming to town for a convention. Not a crowd of fucking loonies singing songs about the Pope and out their nut on wine they bought elsewhere.

What sectarian songs did they sing? I missed it all but have 3 rangers fans who completely deny this being the case. It would suprise md greatly if they were right. Hope the SFL hammer them

Ones i heard were Fathers advice, the famine song and Sash.Just a typical orc outing,no remorse or signs of showing they have turned a new leaf.

Green must be hammered for his comments

If Green is suggesting that Sevco are the victims of bigotry then surely he is also suggesting that he has set up a club whose members form or form part of a religious or cultural group? Has Green admitted to a return to the "policy"?

I take it Sandy Jardine is still on the Ibrox payroll going by that picture.

Must be... along with a plethora of rain-jacketed hangers-on in the away dugout. Pay day must be soon, eh?

Green is a shyster. He needs significantly high numbers of fools to attend Ibrox Stadium and to buy Rangers merchandise to fund the running of Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park which in turn will lead to him making a significant profit from the Ibrox club.

Without significantly high numbers of fools attending Ibrox Stadium and buying Rangers merchandise, his profit-making plans are doomed.

A shyster will say anything that he thinks will help him attract the fools that he requires to buy the product he is selling which in turn leads to him profiting. wink.gif Remember David Murray and Craig Whyte?

Shyster: a person who uses discreditable, unethical or unscrupulous methods.
