So, do you reckon the players were insured or not? Gut feeling.

On ragers media they are happy for the moment, gloating that they as a 3rd division side beat a team that was 2 leagues higher up the food chain than they are .In all essence they still have an SPL side, weakened but still capable of winning in the SPL on a good day.

Now they are sort of happy to be winning as usual for the moment and threatening to buy season tickets based on screaming up the leagues unchallenged because they won a training match with players that will soon be departing because it's division 3 footy.

Can't wait for their first cup tie and first competitive match now, proof of the pudding so to speak.

Holy fucking christ. That can't be real.

The way ahead is to admit Rangers and Dunfermline to the SPL so that the least damages are caused and then investigate in a proper manner what happened. It’s no use pardoning Rangers when they have been executed. We don’t want a Chilcot situation of having an enquiry ten years after the horse has well and truly bolted and probably ended up as corned beef already,” said Di Stefano.

Am i reading that write? Admit Rangers and Dunfermline to the SPL? Di Stefano must be more clueless than Rangers newco's own fans. Cant get any more surreal surely.

He's a complete chancer and headline grabber and is probably ambulance chasing so he can sue some poor b@stard for huge amounts of money. This is probably the reason he bought the gers shares ?.The orcs are thick and have bought into this on ragers media and don't realise this numpty is only trying to make a quick buck himself out of the dead cash cow that was Rangers.

First time posters guys. I hate to admit that I sometimes have a wee skeg at RM and normally have a good chuckle at the deluded ones - but even what I have just read is beggars belief. So much so I had to post. They now think it would be a good idea to suggest playing all their Div 3 games at Ibrox and donate a portion of the gate receipts to the opposition. Never mind the extra travel costs that the fans would have they think they should prof the rest of the gate receipts themselves!!! Even more deluded to think they are going to get 30000 once the novelty of Div 3 has worn off.

Dear Cyrus

THE RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB PLC/DUFF & PHELPS

I attach a copy of a letter I have today sent to Mike Dolan at Duff & Phelps in New York regarding specific allegations involving the above public company in England of which I am a shareholder.

You will note that the clear and precise allegations are one of fraud and the manner upon which an esteemed firm placed itself in a position of trust and obtained substantial benefits. I have to say that Lord Hodge at the Court of Sessions in Edinburgh also expressed concerns at the ‘conflict of interest’ issues but as per my investigation the matter is far deeper rooted.

The corruption and mannerism upon which many seek to annihilate Rangers Football Club so quickly leaves an odour of something extremely suspicious. I can only but cite your words in the Kenneth Starr case who as you know I advised to plead guilty “Kenneth Starr systematically defrauded his friends, family, and business associates out of tens of millions of dollars through phony deals, repeatedly abusing the trust of those who believed he was an upstanding businessman.”

This case is facsimile in that Duff & Phelps were first and foremost the advisors to Craig Whyte and even assisted him with the formation of certain companies, used monies from the company for substantial professional fees, and used their position of trust to ultimately become the Administrators thus ensuring that they were in a position to erase any traces of fraud.

Whilst in the Kenneth Starr case the fraud was perpetrated on wealthy individuals, which certainly was a mitigating factor (but not excusing factor) in this case many small time investors in the company have been clearly defrauded.

Whilst there is indeed I am told a police enquiry by the Strathclyde Police in Scotland I hold little confidence that those truly responsible will ultimately pay the price for their alleged crimes.

The United States of America hold jurisdiction (a) because Duff & Phelps are registered in your County and more important there are fellow company shareholders that are resident in the US whose shares are now worthless.

I am thus asking that you treat this letter as a formal initiation of a complaint of fraud and that if necessary, and I am aware of your capabilities, leave no stone unturned including seeking extradition warrants from those responsible for this on day to day people and supporters of a club that has been in existence since 1872 as an association and 1899 as a corporate body.

If you need copies of my documents and social security number to log the criminal complaint please let me know and I will send by return.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards

From GDS apparently.

Third man is charged over Brechin stabbing

A third man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Brechin.

Tayside Police said a 33-year-old man was charged with attempted murder following a disturbance in the town's Montrose Street, which left a 40-year-old man with stab wounds.

Two other men, aged 31 and 40, had previously been charged with breach of the peace following the incident on Monday morning.

The injured man remains in a serious condition at Ninewells Hospital.

The social unrest has started, just at the thought of the visiting hordes.

D+P rejected the letter as far as I am aware as Gio did not send hard copy as he is duty bound to do.

And didn't.

You would think that they have to be insured...but then again very little would surprise me now. I would hope newcos players agents and indeed the opposition established that insurance to at least cover training game was in place. Pfa should also have input too...imagine the repurcussions if someone had suffered a career ending injury?
