Fishes
http://www.dundeeuni. ..id=4224&cd=2012 The Board of Directors of Dundee United are unequivocal in the belief that a form of sporting punishment must form part of the reasoning behind any decision made and, therefore, cannot vote the newco into the SPL. General sporting integrity and, more importantly, the integrity of Scottish football must also play a significant part in the decision making process. It is our belief that any form of sporting punishment must be unambiguous in the message it displays. Couldn't have hoped for anything better, well done Utd.
TonMan
Great news that Dundee Utd are saying no to the newco. My respect for them has just increased by a lot now. Well done to them!
7-2
I am all for going back to the 1980s and footballers earning £60 a week!! Correct. None of this £75 a week nonsense that Saints fork out nowadays.
Handsome_Devil
So that's Hibs, United and Hearts confirmed as no with Motherwell effectively sure to follow. Inverness hinting towards no too while Celtic and Aberdeen will probably come down on that side shortly. It's effectively done...once it becomes clear five will vote no, the scramble to join the bandwagon will be incredible.

Araminta Moonbeam QC
Had a real fondness for Dundee United since I was a kid, what with their crazy European exploits. They haven't let me down. Well played.
blanco
What a lot of shite. Is it really as far fetched as it sounds, hypothetically speaking, on what grounds could the FA stop Carlisle relocating to Gretna.
Johnstoun
Great statement from United. Come on Saints, get on the bandwagon, you've got season tickets to shift.

The DA
The United website (www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk) has crashed by the look of it. A proud day!

MTJ
To be honest, I think its almost certain newco won't get into the SPL. The big question for me is will they be admitted to the SFL.

I am beginning to now worry about the rumours of the 1st Division, it has to be 3rd or nothing.
Fife Saint
Good clear statement from United. I'd urge all Arabs to push the importance of this to your floating support. We need everybody pulling together, the results will be worth it.
MEADOWXI
Not a Dundee U fan but will go see if i can go online and buy something from their clubshop. The clubs coming out and saying the right things today restores some belief. Take that ya Cheats and take that Cockwomble - Sporting Integrity before money
