Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

None of them ever seem to be able to get their heads around the fact that Rangers supporters aren't actually willing to part with money for the sake of their club. They expect some super-rich nutcase and/or criminal to come in and do it for them.

Essentially SD will expect to get all the profits foregone for 2018/19 and 2019/20. They will have rights for 2020/21, and so Hummel/Elite will expect compensation for lost profits in 2021/22.

... and forgot to add that SD will likely have their costs reimbursed.

There is confusion surrounding the release of results from Mike Ashley's Sports Direct, after the firm failed to publish them early on Friday morning.

In a statement, Sports Direct said it was "still finalising" the results, but anticipated publishing them on Friday.

It is extremely unusual for results to be delayed in this way, and one analyst called events "an utter shambles".

I do hope this does not help the currants in any way. ☹️

Mabe it will push MA to squeeze them for even more. 🤑

94.Rangers assert that an injunction should not be granted because:-

(1)It will lose significant revenues and will be exposed to claims for damages from Elite.  Good!

(2)The club, players and fans will be unable secure kit and other products; Just play in your underpants boys

and(3)Rangers’ ability to function as a football club will be impaired. Fucking Good. Liquidation 2.

I see some further bits and pieces on the Kit Deal court case were released this morning. I would imagine Hummel/Elite won't be best pleased as they are essentially being frozen out of the deal they agreed. Very possible they will end up having to sue the club.

Ironic that when they finally appear to have got it right on the park, their very obvious off field mistakes look like they could f**k all that up. Europa League group football is probably a necessity and it's far from guaranteed that they will get there.

It seems they'll have to pay Ashley's legal fees of £450K by 16th August.  And then there's the matter of damages.  Morelos off for a million?
