According to soccerbase he played for Killie in the SPL in 1998/99.

Not an expert on the guy but he must of been a fair age.Did he own a pub or sports shop in saltcoats or am i getting him mixed up with bobby lennox !

That was his last season with Killie then was at Partick for a year before retiring. He's the Saltcoats Vics chairman and i think he still owns the Victoria Bar in town.

Also did tom brighton and willie kinniburgh play SPL football , i am fairly sure they did but not 100 per cent on it.

Also in ayrshire talbot Gordon Pope played for scotland under 19's and dundee utd but did he play a SPL game ?

and did Willie McLaren now at airdrie start off with benburb ? and play SPL for hamilton ?

Tom Brighton played for St Mirren in the SPL, had brutally bad run off injuries though and got released, was on trial at Dunfermline for a time but ended up at Dundee, Stirling? and then Queen of the South last season, apparently not been the same player since his injuries.

If it's Willie Kinniburgh ex Partick Thistle player, he played in the SPL with Motherwell.

Never heard of Gordon Pope, according to the bastion of truth that is Wikipedia though he only played in the SFL with Montrose.

... maybe should include Glenafton as one of Tom Brown's club. His last game for Killie was the Scottish Cup Final win over Falkirk in 1997 to add to the Scottish Junior Cup medal won with the Glens in 1993., not sure if he is the most recent player to complete this double.

Someone mentioned him flowglenty but he didn't play in the SPL from 1998 ( i dont think )

Henry Smith Glenafton / Hearts

Added , did he play for a team in the east as well at about 50

Also any players from this season that can be added anyone ?
