Hedgecutter Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Here's the next one. The main part of the place is actually behind the Googlecar in this case but it would be too easy I think. This makes it a wee bit more interesting: Are you Phileas Fogg? Seriously, how the f**k do you recognise so many places Right, here was my train of thought for the last one: 1) That wall in the foreground's a browny-red colour with lichen over it. It's Probably Old Red Sandstone. 2) There's a big jetty / harbour thing for ferries on the right there. This must be on the sea. 3) It's either on the east coast or Argyll & Bute as that's the only places you get Old Red Sandstone near the coast. 4) Landscape looks more west-coast-esque and the big stand alone houses in the background look west-coast too. 5) It's either a strip of Inverclyde coast, the southern half of Bute or the bottom of Kintyre. 6) It's a decent size of a place so it's either Largs, Rothesay or Campbeltown. 7) It's not Rothesay or Largs and it looks a bit like Campbeltown.
