roverthemoon
Frightened Rabbit's Poke is always a tearjerker. It's not too bad, but his voice when singing it is what makes it so sad. I cry whenever they play it live. That whole album is emotional. Good Arms vs Bad Arms and Backwards Walk are through the emotional wringer songs too. Brilliant songwriting. ginge123
One that gets me for some reason is Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns. I know Wood is dead etc. but I wouldn't really consider myself a fan really, I've only heard a few songs, but for some reason it really makes me sad. KeeperDee
Any rendition of abide with me. The Strokes - Hard to Explain David Bowie - Heroes The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony Joy Division - Love will tear us apart The Waterboys - Whole of the moon Queen - Radio GaGa Talking Heads - (Nothing but) Flowers The Smiths - Asleep Delphic - Counterpoint (tim goldsworthy edit.) Passion pit - I'll be alright Can pretty much say these songs will elicit some sort of emotional reaction; whether they be positive or negative is entirely dependent on my current life situation. ETA: Thinking about it, I'm quite fragile when it comes to songs and how they affect me.
