Boomtown Boy Posted October 7, 2014 Share Posted October 7, 2014 I noticed both our current keepers being mentioned in this thread from 2011. Carlin and Shepherd when at Maryhill. I think Shep is a better keeper but Carlin has kept 4 clean sheets in a row and can't drop a keeper when doing well. Is Andy Carlin playing for Irvine? We had a season after Weir left to go to America (another very good GK btw) where the GK position was defo ropey but he came in last season steadied the ship in goals and conceded least goals in the league last year so take from that what you will. JC was decent at Camelon over the few seasons there but never in the top keepers in the EastAbsolutely flabbergasted that you have mentioned mckinven in this thread. He was a bombscare with pollok and us. Guess that's the beauty of football though you can never tell what's going to happen in the future.Guy is obviously doing well at the rose.
