Stevie88
*sigh* Anyway, someone over on the Morton forum seems fairly confident that Kenny Shiels will be the next Morton boss. Would be pretty happy with that personally, seems like the kind of character who is not averse to kicking some arses, which some of our lot seem to require. That makes sense... Kenny Shiels is a c**t!
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
That makes sense... Kenny Shiels is a c**t! Kenny Shiels managing a side containing Nacho Novo and Dougie Imrie. Scary Bear
Kenny Shiels managing a side containing Nacho Novo and Dougie Imrie. Can you imagine the rage from away fans? Imagine the laughter when he takes Morton down to the seaside league.
forzamorton
Someone on the Morton forum is defiant that Jimmy Calderwood and Kenny Shiels have been interviewed. Either will do, if true. Bring them home, Dougie. Edited December 10, 2013 by forzamorton
Wee Sandy
Someone on the Morton forum is defiant that Jimmy Calderwood and Kenny Shiels have been interviewed. Either will do, if true. Bring them home, Dougie. Signals of a late push for promotion for the "mighty" GMFC. Forecast of Novo named Championship POTY for 2013/14 and Champions League within the next three years for Morton following successive Premier League titles..

Calderwood has more experience of fighting relegation battles, so he may well be the man you are after.

Stevie Aitken's Love Child
3 of the applicants for the manager's job have been unveiled in today's Greenock Telegraph, and they are all former players. I'm sure the following names will surprise a few: Janne Lindberg - currently head coach of Finnish fourth tier side Sudet Marko Rajamaki - head coach at TPS Turku in the Finnish top tier Jani Uotinen - Youth coach at VPS in the Finnish top tier http://www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk/sport/morton/articles/2013/12/12/481877-three-former-finnish-favourites-apply-for-morton-managers-job/ Edited December 12, 2013 by Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Dunning1874
Appoint them all as joint player-managers. Lindberg will own this division.
forzamorton
None have had experience of managing in Scotland, which could prove to be a problem. Rajamäki would be my preferred choice out of all three, though.
