vikingTON
Far too early to be saying that Morton will be "the team to beat next season" etc. However, if we can keep the spine of our squad - that being Tidser, Reid and MacDonald - and add some reasonable signings, then we will be up challenging again next season. Yep: unless injuries or transfers take the central players out of the equation, we should have more than enough to be in the top four again. Hopefully there'll be play-offs in place to make that worthwhile. -
vikingTON
Can't wait to destroy this Morton yet again, next season. Last time you were in this division, you failed to score a single goal against Morton in your own midden. Nobody is impressed or concerned by your serial title flops.
Swampy
Would be happy with all three of those signings. Hearing Gaston, Archie and Obri have signed on is great, too.
DomDom
Having O'Brien fit again will be big for us. He's been out of sorts for a while now. I'm not his biggest fan but at this level he can help to turn games. Gaston has been solid for us. Underrated by sections of our support. Campbell might have come back too soon as well, so again, hopefully we'll have a fit Campbell next season.
vikingTON
I don't see where Campbell fits into our best side and formation, which is unquestionably 4-5-1. Good to have a mix of options on the bench, or to field against the pub teams? Possibly. But it's much more important for us to secure a player capable of playing that lone striker role, either as an able deputy for MacDonald when he gets injured or as a replacement.

Hopefully the Dundee big shots will be brought crashing back to earth next season. The 5-1 was a fluke result and wouldn't happen 9 times out 10.
forzamorton
It'll be interesting to see how Dundee fair in the First Division next season. Most posters feel that they'll be the team to beat, and that may very well be the case, but I don't see it being guaranteed, especially under Bomber. Since he stepped into the role, he has had very little pressure on him as many thought Dundee were already doomed. He has, however, produced some good results but his managerial skills will be tested a lot more next season.
DomDom
If Bomber is going to be as bad next season as some suggest, he won't be tolerated very long. Of course, with the numbskulls in charge of Dundee he may well stay if that happens, but there is the chance that Dundee will either do well under him or punt after a couple of months. Neither of which would make anyone else's task in the division any easier.

Dunning1874
you have a fucking cheek, calling anyone cheats Excellent post. VT, how dare you call anyone cheats? Wait, you didn't? Well, this is embarrassing for anyone who suggested such a thing.
forzamorton
I'm scared to reply to Son-of-Joe because I heard a rumour that if you engage with him on-line, or in person, you automatically lose braincells.
EdinburghLivi
Can't believe how many of the absolute throbbers on this board are Partick Thistle fans, even in a promotion season. So many simpletons with utterly shite banter or unbelievable stupidity. Gone very quickly from one of the best set of fans to the worst. -
Dunning1874
Can't believe how many of the absolute throbbers on this board are Partick Thistle fans, even in a promotion season. So many simpletons with utterly shite banter or unbelievable stupidity. Gone very quickly from one of the best set of fans to the worst. A good number of them only turned up when the league was nearly won though, I imagine they'll piss off again once next season begins. Maybe then you'll no longer have them stalking you in order to red dot every single one of your posts.
