mattydfc
I played it a bit easier with the odds, not really keen on risking £200 on an evens chance to be honest.

Returns: £46. 3. £46 on Everton away to Bolton. Returns: £110.40. Tempted to stick it on van Persie to score any time @ 4/7.

As soon as I hit confirm on this I knew it was a mistake - pretty silly market to bet that much on. Not the first time I've lost on this due to just rushing in and trying to get there as quickly as possible. Need to stop and think more some times. Ah well, on the positive side, I still technically made profit of £

Super_J
£19.48 on Arsenal to beat Borussia Returned £41.88 £41.88 on Stoke to beat Blackburn returned £75.38 This is as far as I have come thus far, I was on my way to the saints game when the stoke game finished and was fancying MK dons or Notts county, even st johnstone as well who were all evens or better but I decided against it. Yesterday as I sat playing MW3 I thought City will beat liverpool, I text my mate who is right into the prem league for his thoughts on the matter, he sed he wasn't sure, Liverpool were dangerous in the big games and maybe a draw was a good shout. I heeded his advice and left it (thank christ) so I will see if I fancy anything through the week but if not then sure something will pop up next weekend. We have all been talking in this thread about patience and making sure you pick the right bet, its so easy to try and get another step ahead but wise to remember you can play the long game! Need to keep the head in check. Oh and unlucky matty, I was following your own path with a lot of interest, I think you are playing it the right way and good luck on the next one! 'Steve
Deliberating whether to put a single on Man City @ 2.30 if Van Persie isn't playing. Wenger has hinted that he will rest several key players (including Van Persie) for the game. Man City will also rest some regulars but they have world class players in reserve to come in. Will wait until the team-lines are announced...if Van Persie is rested and the Man City team looks strong then I might put £10-£15 on them. After seeing that Van Persie wasn't even on the bench for Arsenal I decided to lump my money on this...seemed a stupid idea for the best part of 84 minutes but thankfully it paid off...just. Attempt One: £20 on Ceara v Corinthians @ 2.20 Returns £44.00 £44 on Dagenham & Redbridge v Southend @ 1.83 Returns £80.52 £80.52 on Stenhousemuir v Albion Rovers @ 1.90 - returned £152.98 £152.98 on Arsenal v Manchester City @ 2.37 - returned £362.56 Serious money now and a lot of thought must go into the next bet. Very tempted just to pussy out and take the dosh though.

'Steve
Stick it on Arbroath or just stick on £250-300 for the next bet Trust me I'm very tempted...I'll certainly be putting a hefty single on them either way. Will take my time and assess my options as to what to do next.
