We played you in a friendly at Meadowbank which was notable for Joe Mbu matching Christian Nade in the air and giving him close attention.  Nade got so annoyed the ref told the Raith bench to sub him before he was sent off

There was quite a good Raith support that night too. Fair play for coming out for a friendly.

Do friendlies count?

I was only counting competitive games.

Due to our boomeranging around the leagues of late and a couple of cup draws , the only teams we haven't played since 2018 are

Stirling Albion - 2011

Annan - 2009

Brechin - 2005

Elgin and Edinburgh Cities - never

Kelty will also be a never should they progress against Brechin.

Kelty will be a first for almost everyone; their indifferent cup record exacerbating their basic newness.

They'd met Peterhead in both Scottish and League cups... Stranraer in Scottish Cup... St Johnstone + Dundee Utd in League Cup... Annan in Challenge Cup.... Cowdenbeath + Raith in Fife Cup.

Think this is updated and correct for us. We've never played Kelty Hearts so their promotion moves them straight to the top of the list. And we've not played Cove since their promotion either. Now approaching 31 years without playing Celtic competitevly which is 20 years more than anyone else in the senior leagues other than the two recently promoted already mentioned. Kilmarnock will drop away from their 7th spot next season since we'll be sharing a division for the first time in over 30 years.

Falkirk not having played QP for nearly 40 years is wild.

I remember watching the score come in on ceefax. Sure we beat them.2 nil.

Edit, I was at my friend Darren's house in Smithton @TheScarf. He went on to become a minister. I don't think that is related though.

Amusingly enough, the H-to-H sites don’t like Queens Park as a team, but Sky Sports is showing a 3PM Saturday 26th July 2008 friendly match at TFS, postponed…oh, and one of the H2H sites still lists Falkirk as a Championship team.

Found the 1982/1983 Falkirk v Queens Park League scores…

0-2 16-Oct-82, Hampton Park (Smith and Perry, 681 in attendance)

2-0 8-Jan-83, Brockville (Brown and Hoggan, 2000 in attendance)

1-1 2-April-83, Hampden (McNivan and Houston, 711 in attendance)
