Jacksgranda
A point it was. Could have been a much needed 3. Might have been an horrendous 0. 1 will have to do.
accies1874
First time Everton have failed to win any of their first four league games since 2010 - didn't win until October but finished 7th so all's not lost imo.
Jacksgranda
Another point. But it's going to be a long season.
Jacksgranda
And another point. (Much to my surprise - and delight.) The defence would appear to have been tightened up, but the attack still gives cause for concern.
Jacksgranda
Yaaaas! Three vital, vital points. In Frankie's Fusiliers we trust. GIRUY, Davie Moyes. Edited September 18, 2022 by Jacksgranda Sleppnig and Grandma
accies1874
Decent performance and you'd imagine it would've been more comfortable towards the end if there wasn't the pressure of it being the first win. Looking like a decent first 11 at the moment.
Jambomo
Everton looking a lot better this season, fair play to Lampard. Definitely still look a bit lacking up front but I guess you still have Calvert-Lewin to come back.

A defeat will set everything back (particularly as Liverpool beat them 9-0), I'd be happy if the Blues went home with a point, but a win would put a bit of daylight between them and the bottom 3. * 1st October, even Edited September 23, 2022 by Jacksgranda

You must have a good chance of at least a point, they aren’t a great side at the moment. If you can score then you’ll win, I’d fancy you to keep a clean sheet.
Christophe
Hope the Patterson injury isn't serious, apparently Mykolenko picked up a knock in Ukraine training too and didn't feature tonight. DCL also reporting a new groin niggle in Everton training... It never rains! Jacksgranda
A great 3 points at St Marys, coming from behind to win 2-1. Wouldn't have happened last season, imo. Frankies Fusiliers march on!
Jacksgranda
A tough run of fixtures coming up - Manchester United (H), Spurs (A). Newcastle United (A), Crystal Palace (H), Fulham (A). Maybe 5 points there. Or 9. More likely 5.
Jacksgranda
Disappointing. (That should be my default remark for Everton results.) Revised forecast of 4 points from next 4 fixtures. If these games all go the wrong way, Everton will be in trouble.
Jacksgranda
Ho, hum, another disappointment. At least one, if not two, more to come in this run of fixtures. Time for Fusilier Frankie to steady the ship!
Jacksgranda
Disappointment Nr 3 in a row. A win against Crystal Palace is essential, Mr Lampard.

Hopefully a much better performance and result to come on Saturday to get a lift. Off to Fulham next weekend, so I hope it is not another weak away performance.
Christophe
Yeah 3 point a must tomorrow. Really flat at Newcastle, at least at Spurs I though there were a couple of chances to take the lead in the first half and you got a sense of a game plan. Tuesday was just utterly directionless. In the Lower Bullens tomorrow after a sojourn to the Upper Gwladys for Man Utd... Edited October 21, 2022 by Christophe
