Ian Murray was appointed St Mirren manager on Friday whilst Ray McKinnon got the Raith job a few hours later. That leaves Dumbarton and Brechin managerless instead. No word yet on any developments at Cowdenbeath. Two long serving managers moving on then. Murray had been Scotland's 5th longest serving and McKinnon was 3rd having been in charge at Brechin for 2 years, seven and a half months. At this moment only 7 managers have been in their present job more than 2 years, though Tommy Wright will make that 8 in a fortnight if nobody else moves on before then. Only 17 out of 42 have been in position more than a year which is a fairly incredible statistic! Baraclough was punted on Wednesday (Craigan in temporary charge) whilst rumours abound that McNamara has been shown to the garden today. It's certainly how I interpret a statement that says "Berwick Rangers have confirmed that they have parted company with manager Colin Cameron". It doesn't actually say sacked but it doesn't claim he resigned or use the "mutual agreement" line either. Nor has he come out since and claimed any moral high ground resignation, although it's fairly early days and that might come.
