Fae_the_'briggs
Have to admit that Gordon Waddell writes a very fair article on Referee's pay in today's Sunday Mail. The Ref's are paid to enforce the Rules of Football which are the same irrespective of what division you are Refereeing in. Mind you if his team Falkirk ever get promoted to the Premiership his outlook will probably change.
Fae_the_'briggs
i listened to clyde super scoreboard earlier, hugh keevins thought Sow was at hearts on loan. (and not the only mistake) This thread is gonna be massive , i think. Clyde Super Scoreboard is the radio version of the Daily Record, Details don't matter unless it features Sellick or Newco.

Gaz FFC
My app for checking scores has Terry Butcher as the Hibs manager. I heard on Tuesday absolute radio say "the football season starts back this weekend" Only 1 league in Britain started this weekend.

Newbornbairn
Footballers are paid according to their ability. Do referees really want to go down that road?

cowdenbeath
Another one from today's Sunday Mail. Apparently Craig Johnston replaced Liam Buchanan for Cowden yesterday, by some sort of miracle Buchanan then managed to score for Alloa.

Just read the paper and was coming to post the same, how do these clowns get through the day let alone have a job reporting so diabolically on something they are meant to be good at.

Jambo99
An almost everyday complaint this one. On Clyde SSB, Mark Guidi was talking about signings that had not worked out ( about Celtic) and said "Off the top of my head..." Why can't football journalists have the actual facts? = no reason. It is not complicated.

Bluegrass Bairn
on the BBC website - the headline story for Scottish League Two is - "Hearts loan Gary Oliver to Stenhousemuir". The Warriors must be really shocking this season if they've been relegated before Celtic are out of Europe.
