I'm an old school fan of hip hop, I grew up in the halcyon years when it developed on a near monthly basis and you got about 15 killer albums a year. For me when the more R&B fusion and bitches and bling orientated stuff came in the mid 90's saw it fall off dramatically. There's still some good acts out there keeping it real through. The fact they were reaching middle class teenagers in Scotland probably pleased them no end. Amazingly consistent act and The Bomb Squad are at the pinacle of a hip hop production team. The House Of Pain still rate as one of my favourites and their remixes are always brilliant.
