SaltyTON
Everything the Morton fans put into the club wouldn't buy a couple of pots off the rag man. Enjoy finding a replacement for the 81 year old loon who pays your bills. Before he turned up you were in administration (you had 'assets' then too) and once he's gone, well.... 2011-1931 must be difficult.
Skyline Drifter
But enjoy finding a replacement for Harkins with that 9k, I'm glad the diving cheat is out the division. I'm not.
Skyline Drifter
I am still yet to see him in "full flow" vs Queen's, I am quite gutted he is leaving. He would have to come good at some point so I can believe the hype. Perhaps we'll see it on tv at some point now.
Tonsilitis
Everything the Morton fans put into the club wouldn't buy a couple of pots off the rag man. In fact, Morton supporters trust have invested £120k in shares in the club since administration and also made another £25k in donations to the club. That's over and above the shares purchased directly by fans at a cost of circa £160k. Not bad for an area a population of about one quarter of Dundee's hinterland! Just to keep the record straight! I've tried my best to find out the clubs that they've came from, and I've assumed when their contracts expire. Hopefully we'll get some more information on them all later. I've also added Burns and McGrotty to that, as they have one year left of their apprenticeship.

SaltyTON
How mant times has Dungdee cheated and not paid their bills and went into Administration worry about your own team ya TIT. Once more than Morton at last count. Slagging someone because the team they support have gone into administration, then changing the spelling of their name, is really embarrassing. Calling him a company set up by the Trotters in Only Fools and Horses, well... Whether you like it or not, he made a reasonably valid point. Once Rae is gone there's no guarantee that his son will take over, and the trust could not sustain a full time football team.

Hmm! Harkins and Forsyth out replaced by Conroy and Chisholm. That's the heart of Dundee's midfield from last season ripped out so it will be interesting to see how the new guys shape up. One player Dundee have that I really like the look of is young Leighton MacIntosh. I was very impressed by him when I saw him last season but generally, I think the team is weaker than the best eleven from last season and the squad looks a bit thin in midfield. Presumably there will be more to come before the start of the season?
