Mad Capsule
Will bang them in for sure. Class player. Bit gutted we've let him go to be honest Another foolish move by our terrible manager. Would rather we gave Higgins away on loan. Either way, good luck and let us know how he gets on. Class player!

Virtual Insanity
Steven Craig joins Thistle on a 6 month loan deal. Better option than McGuigan or Elliot in my opinion, so happy enough with that move.
EdinburghLivi
Saw a tweet today saying that SFL clubs will be more highly rewarded for playing young SPL loanees than playing their own youngsters. Wouldn't surprise me to see more loans in this league, following this ludicrous decision.

Wouldn't surprise me to see more loans in this league, following this ludicrous decision. In what way? Edit: not having a dig, but surely SFL clubs are still paying the wages for young SPL loanees in much the same way they are paying their own youngsters? Unless there's some sort of new incentive scheme for clubs to take players on loan from the SPL? Also; Paddy Boyle away on loan to Gateshead? Surely that's just a 1 or 2 month thing for fitness? He was terrific with us.

He was terrific with us. Straight from the SFA/SFL document: SFL First Division clubs A performance award of £250 will be paid if three Under 21 players are in the starting line-up falling to £200 if only two Under 21 players are in the starting line-up. There will be no award made for one Under 21 player in the starting line-up. In circumstances where a First Division club plays, on loan, an SPL registered Under 21 player in it's starting line-up, an additional appearance fee of £500 will be payable to the First Division club subject to there being two Under 21 players in the starting line-up
