It's about time you put your manager out to pasture,

After 74 league games in charge he has averaged 1.04 points per game.  We’re on course for 32 points from 36 games, which is the same as when we finished bottom in 11/12.
This season, we have lost the first goal in 10 games in all competitions. W0 D0 L10.
In league games under Johnston the record after conceding first is P33 W1 D1 L31.
In the last 2 years, Queens have played 28 league games at home and have won 6 of them. 2 wins in the last 14 home league games. 1 league win in the last 11overall.
His record over the period Hopkin and Duffy were in charge of Ayr was about the same as those two. It was worse than MacPherson’s over the equivalent of his time at Morton.
We’ve won 1 Scottish Cup game in 3 seasons and have been knocked out at home by a L2 and a L1 side in 2 of them.
So, why do you say that?

So we have to play against Killie next week without Gibson, McKay, Cameron, Paton and Johnston. This is the team were we played with no attacking presence in the last game with these players starting the game bar Cameron. Everybody keeps on talking about AJ bringing in experience but who is going to want to play for us under our manager.

Oft.

I feel for you. I also support a club that hangs on to managerial duds well past their expiry date.

There is a lot of flack Managers take when it's players that should be taking more of the responsibility. But that 'going behind' record is truly abysmal. In this instance the blame lies firmly at the door of the manager.

The worrying thing (which you've kind of commented on) is that under MacPherson you were as well going home when we went behind as we were getting nothing from the match. Going by the stats AJ is the exact same, if not worse.

It's about time you put your manager out to pasture, no?

1 - That would be expensive given he's on a two year contract I think (and I would hazard a wild guess that we ain't the wealthiest of clubs)

2 - Replacing him with a significant upgrade would be even more expensive

3 - Are there alternatives out there who would do better and that we could afford?

4 - Depends on the board's prioritisation of objectives, for instance they might be: (i) Financial stability in an extended uncertain pandemic environment, over (ii) Championship continuity

5 - The board don't panic, we do nothing - the product on the park continues to decline, the support continues to stay away in ever increasing numbers, the budget shrinks even more and L1 becomes a reality ..... Catch-22 etc.

6 - AJ pulls several "rabbits out the hat" during the January window

7 - I win the Lottery, triple the player budget and build a new stadium (free-issue) .... oh wait ... I don't do the Lottery ....

Match reporter has lost the plot. A “valiant” performance apparently.

Probably down to predictive text.  I think he was meaning "valiumed":

"Common side effects include sleepiness and trouble with coordination"

Who should we try and get to boost our squad in January. Youngsters or out of favours players. Kai Kennedy might be out of our price range but you can only ask.

definitely money available including £30,000 from the tanner fund.

Kennedy is just the quality we need same with Stephen Kelly but both players well out of our budget unless Rangers pay the majority of the wages .

Hopefully get at least one  from Middlesborough.

The Tanner Fund should be used no point having it just to sit there

It’s vitally important the football club show an interest in using the Funds during this transfer window.

If Queens aren’t interested then neither will the contributors as it’s over two years old now and hasn’t been touched.

It’s a win win situation for Queens.
