Ayr and Queens are similar size clubs have much the same budget . The likes of Dunfermline and Partick are bigger clubs . Have heard we turned Maxwell down because we are close to a deal with Middlesbrough which will mean they will send us there best young players on loan hopefully Jones will be one of them . We have accommodation all set up in Hamilton hopefully the deal will go through next week .

It must be really embarrassing that Ayr have been consistently more shit than Queens over the last 15 years or so then.

It's longer than that, in the last 20 seasons we've finished above Ayr 17 times. The 3 times Ayr finished above us were the 2 seasons before last, and 2011/12, where we both got relegated. 2 minutes ago, Fae_the_'briggs said: The number if bites this "Ayr are a bigger club" is getting is quite embarrassing. It is obvious trolling, but it's always fun to use stats.

Greenacres
Good performance today but we will come up against much better than a poor Airdrie team .Willie Gibson best player on the park a joy to watch. All positive going forward some of our passing and movement was really good . We need height experience and a physical presence at the back thought we lost the ball a lot in the air. Dunn and East did fine but will come up against much better than they did today . Hopefully add to the squad next week .

lowland star
Harry Cochrane fantastic signing and maybe now some people on here will give manager and more so the bod a break . Really think we are building a side that will play attractive football and the potential for players to improve and sell on for a nice profit .
die hard doonhamer
That's a brilliant signing. Really happy with the way AJ is going about building this side, and that the board are happy to invest in longer deals for the right players.

Good signing but has to kick on after 2 poor loan spells. Has the ability to kick on. Most of our players are on one year deals are they not. Only Paton and now Cochrane on longer deals. Would love the club to tie down Connelly, East and McGrory down for longer as they are good players and have proved they are excellent in the right group.
