Hopefully Dumfries will get to Tier 1 soon .
It would be great to be back at Palmerston but would it actually cost Queens money only having 300 season ticket holders at the game .
Queens will have the added cost of more stewards etc with no actual money coming in.
Okay it is in England but only 30 odd  miles away Carlisle are being allowed 2000 fans in a decent amount  against Salford on Wednesday
Only you could put a negative spin on fans being allowed back into the ground. It's like a weird and useless superpower.

I'm sure the club wouldn't grudge  paying for stewards if and when we're allowed fans back in. Even if it is only 300.

I'm sure that they would, right now. In the most financially uncertain time, possibly in the club's history, they absolutely will grudge paying for stewards with no chance of making that back. They'll do it, but they won't like it.

Fair enough.

How many stewards would we need for 300 fans?

Interesting that Aberdeen are pushing for 1,000 then 2,000 with support from an expert in epidemiology (obviously Pittodrie has a much larger capacity than Palmerston but if they get the nod it shows more is possible, hopefully with a view to further increases as the vaccine is rolled out).

Not really convinced that picking a public fight with Jason Leitch is a smart move though.

Still no after match interviews after our first league win in 11 months.

Any reason for this SD ?

The interviewer probably forgot what kind of questions to ask after a win.

"So, Alan, what went wrong today?"

Sadly not

Contractual reasons, of course. Shame.

Not contractual reasons. Queens could have streamed it but apparently it would have been  “very difficult” and they believed that less than 12 people would have bought the stream.

Because

1 - the BBC are using all the available broadcast facilities. It would be very difficult to try to do it from normal seats in the stand and cable extensions for plugs, and

2 - its not realistic financially to broadcast to less than a dozen people.

Plus until this morning we didnt actually realise the BBC broadcast deal didnt forbid it as the Sky and Premier ones do.

I'll be honest not too fussed by Queens commentary team (although they are probably the best on the streams) nor mainstream channels efforts. I have resorted just watching games with no volume on telly and forming my own opinions, feel I am concentrating more on all the aspects of the games.

I think even the happy clappers have to admit even this early on that we're fucked. The BoD probably can't afford to sack AJ and there is no way he is going to turn this around. Alloa were somehow dominated by our mob last week so they may pip us to 10th spot but Partick, Falkirk or Cove will comfortably dispose of us even if we make the play-offs.

The question is who we go with for our L1 challenge. AJ's level is L1 and he has a decent record. Could we do any better than him at that level? If he does the job for us the biggest risk is that he would undoubtedly be given the gig at this level again and we could expect the same shite we've been dished up by him.

Dobbie/Gibson as co-managers? Obviously both QoS through and through but are untested as managers. If they could bring their style of play to the field it could be make for some decent viewing.

Another run of the mill manager? Even if AJ was sacked, the list of realistic replacements wouldn't be inspiring. Who would be your shout?
