If that's true, with fans largely being taken out of the equation, or minimum allowed in at least, they can basically arrange games for whenever they like. It'll further hit whatever small numbers of fans streaming there would be also. Confident on the ball and a threat going forward. Hard to judge him defensively as we've been been pretty poor at the back though. Hasn't looked dodgy defensively but can't say he's been solid. One of Johnston's better recruits. Like most full backs nowadays he's probably judged more on how good he is getting forward rather than on his defensive ability and he looks good when he does. He's had to fit into a completely new defence so mistakes are maybe to be expected. It's a funny one because there wasn't a lot of hype about him but he still trained with the first team and got a friendly appearance or two. When you unearth a gem its certainly great for the player getting good experience, its great for his parent club getting him first team game time where he can make his mistakes without causing problems for the parent club and for a while its great for the wee club getting a bit of rare quality into the side for a spell. The problem for us recently has been we find a gem, have a good first half of the season, the gem gets withdrawn by the parent in January and then our season goes down the pan in the second half of the season.
